I don't have to be grateful of something that wasn't given to me, but that was just found. I thank the people who share links with me, and that's it. Nobody's "God" for having access to files, I'm not the one who's entitled... what's tacky is the idea of acting like some sort of overlord for having those things and actually requesting money and/or nudes (that kind of people exist and I have come across more than a couple of them) is just an inferiority|superiority complex demonstration.
"Working Hard" okay, define that for me. How is stealing stuff "working hard"? And how is just slowdripping by leaking snippets, sometimes tagged, and sharing info on things that can't be fact checked, a "good act".
I'm not picky about bitrates, it's stuff we weren't supposed to get in the first place so every leak is a blessing lol but I don't think you get my point at all.
I'm not being self indulgent, nor think that I am "entitled" to get anything. My post is not about that...
It's about people flaunting and making leaks about the leakers and their recognition to boost some twisted ego complex, instead of appreciating the music or sharing it with people without so many conditions and complications. And if you can't share it because you know you can get in legal trouble for it, then don't share a fucking snippet or leak the lyrics to be replied with "omg pls leak dis!!11!111" just to feel "requested".

That’s bizzare and incredibly aggravating. I would bet that the reason they aren’t sharing the OG leaks is for them to feel exclusive, because that’s the exact reason the clique Charli hackers refused to leak certain songs.

I hate to be that person bc even a cover would hold me off (voices carry was on REPEAT) but i don't really like the original so the cover does nothing for me. I wonder if she's the one who leaked it, because the timing is too perfect lol. Regardless, I'm unsatisfied but still pleased she kept her "promise".

This narrative that it's at all about money doesn't make sense or stand any ground at this point.
We all KNOW sky isn't selling and capitol is the first one. Sky isn't an expensive artist and has a lot of revenue streams and opportunities (modeling, movies, features) because she's well liked and cool with literally everybody in LA (for some reason). For Capitol to be so stupid to jeopardize any chance of recouping their investment by BLOCKING her from releasing ANYTHING, IN 2021!!!!! is simply unbelievable and if true, unfathomable. Label vs. Artist clashes aren't new or unique to Sky, and assuming that a decently selling album or hit single is how you get real money let alone the ONLY way is not true. Look at Snail mail, soccer mommy, angel olsen, or every other indie rock girl. Hell, even a caroline polachek. And I'm sorry but you don't appear in a 200+ MILLION dollar grossing critically acclaimed movie and get featured on the soundtrack with no help.
Sky HAS material, these tens of songs and snippets we know of could've been released LONG AGO with which she could've performed on festivals, a small tour, or radio shows like KEXP or Tiny Desk (Hell, she was on pitchfork's live fest in 2019 with ONE(1)!!! new solo song since 2013.) and paid them back that way.
I'll choose to believe that she bruised a suit's ego before any of the other bullshit but didn't capitol change CEOs since 2012? You'd think whoever it is wouldn't give a fuck by now or has left the company but oh well.

I’m surprised at how many people are enthused. I assumed people were over her constant coy teasing. She used to like comments saying “like this if something is coming 20xx” all the time. The 14 days is gonna turn into a month, and that will turn a few months…. and then a few more… and before you know it, it’s been 2 years.
