  1. Maybe you are expecting My Song 57 in your inbox or something as a reward. I don't know. Let me know if the ass-licking pays off.
  2. And I'd rather have just one full unreleased track than countless distorted snippets, edited leaks branded as full versions, vague half-assed descriptions, out-of-context lyrics, shady paypal transactions and an endless stream of false hope... all topped off with an unmatched superiority complex.
  3. Guess the UV comparisons aren't that bad after all. It shows how versatile and ingenious Rick Nowels is as a visionary producer and songwriter. Coming for Auerbach's CRUSTY wig. "Grandpa" Nowels sure did that
  4. Vocally I can agree that it sounds like Ultraviolence. She must've dug out her low quality $10 microphone from the attic again. But instrumentally, it's not comparable to Ultraviolence. It's next-gen Honeymoon.
  5. The thing is we don't know what Cherry sounds like. The live performance isn't the best indicator; we know how her band puts their own embellishments on the tracks. What we can discern from the studio snippet she posted on Instagram is that the guitar is not a focal point of the song. The beat is. UV is raw, often times muffled, and clearly inspired by psychedelic rock genres. Plus the live-band recording gives it a very distinct sound. None of this is present in Cherry.
  6. God Knows I Tried and Religion are also Ultraviolence tracks then, because of how guitar-centric they are. What a dumb ass fraud. Once again. Anyway, Cherry obviously isn't as guitar-centric as the live version makes it seem. Don't be fooled by Blake's live guitar. It's more synthy like Honeymoon.
  7. Hmm no, I'm gonna disagree. It does sound pretty dreamy and smokey like HM. The deep and heavy instruments/vocals are more similar to Paradise and Honeymoon. Think the muddy trap beats. It's like a mix between The Blackest Day, Cola and High by the Beach. And your point with the "vagueness" of the verses is quite nonsense; what does that have to do with Ultraviolence?
  8. There's nothing UV about Cherry, why do people keep making that comparison? It's more Honeymoon/Paradise than UV for sure.
  9. While I think I wouldn't hurt for her to improve her breath control, it's undeniable that she has amazing pitch control. Listening to her KROQ performance, she jumps between notes so precisely, flawlessly and effortlessly, especially in her upper register. She truly has the best vocals (albeit not the strongest) I've ever heard. Legendary mother.
  10. girl in all honesty, I hope not. this ain't something that ever needs to be re-watched! let's forget it happened
  11. sooo obvious that Ben Ratson did that on purpose anyone know his exact whereabouts? PM me!
  12. her new cheeks are popping under that lighting tho. serve for us queen mother!
  13. Cruel World? time for a bathroom break I guess
  14. Omg at this CLUNKY mess that is the audio! i'm living for it tho!
  15. why she whispering into this mic? where the vocals at? sing for us miss kunt!
  16. YES bitch, no middle part! we are blessed sistren!!
  17. i'm up in here ready with my snacks, beverages and other miscellaneous refreshments but where is this girl AT? my cool drink is getting flat and warm
  18. we're not ready for the 2017 rendition of Carmen, now with added ad-libs and an extended outro
  19. yes I agree that she's next, but you went making dumb assumptions and lashed out at this user for no damn reason. take a deep breath sister, and maybe also a xanax. don't want you dying of an aneurism, still got 2 months until the album is here. save your pettiness for then!
  20. you can sit down yourself I'm pretty sure the point of the post was to speculate that lana's show might not be livestreamed since it the website says HAIM is next.
  21. It was authentic. But if she would recreate Ultraviolence today, it would not be authentic. Her creative process is undoubtedly influenced by her emotions and outlook on life, two things that she herself has admitted have changed. In fact, she said UV was reactionary to the media attention she was receiving. But she's no longer in the same headspace as she was while creating BTD & UV so hoping for a rehash is kinda fruitless.
