Just listened. Don't know what I expected given the tacky title. Needless to say, I'm putting this in my "never gonna listen again" category, alongside Some Things Last a Long Time and Black Beauty (Album Version).

Lana will delay the album because of meeting G-Eazy. This fling has impacted her profoundly and she's no longer in the same mindset as when she wrote the album. She will take a few more months to process the new relationship.

Just finished episode 7 and whew! It's been a rollercoaster so far. Some scenes definitely quenched my "thirst".

Well, West Coast was released April 14th and impacted radio June 3rd. Y&B was released April 22nd but impacted radio May 21st. So if we're following this pattern I don't doubt the single will be released in the next 2 weeks.

Not only is it related to a movie, it's about a particular movie. She said in an interview with James Franco, "Harmony Korine wanted me to write a tune about this movie that I think you’re going to be in [The Trap]. It’s about cocaine cowboys. I've always loved Honeymoon but lately I've been caught on admiring how fucking beautiful the production and overall aesthetic is. From the subdued percussion, breezy synths, sparse and scattered piano chords, to the angelic vocal layering and adrenaline-inducing arrangements on some tracks. It's both a pity and a blessing that the production takes the backseat... as gorgeous as it is, nothing compares to Lana's delicate vocals and I'm really glad the producers gave that the spotlight.
