Fire Island, on Hulu / Disney+, is very enjoyable to watch. It’s Pride and Prejudice, but with gay men, on Fire Island. It also features many Asian gay men (which is rare).

I’m always curious what version of the song an insider has heard… with Arcadia, the way BoZ described it, it was the piano-only version of the MV he heard. With the “plastic bag” song, did that insider hear the final version with Drew’s orchestrations on it?

It’s possible. A fan DMed him a while back about new music with Lana and his response was a bunch of emoji 💥. Plus he’s been on every album she’s done so far, he has to be on at least one track.

You’re probably right. Lyric tease or general feeling of songs… She did the same, Chemtrails era, teasing lyrics for the title track in her captions (and even ideas that ended up in the MV).

I’m not too worried about the burden he could put on her: their management really seems to be to do the most to accommodate both parties (artist and record company). Will she have to tour again? Hell y’a. On this day and age, it’s the main source of revenue for an artist and a record company. But she probably will be able to do it on her own terms (my guess: she will finish the NFR tour she couldn’t do and some music festivals next year). As for the sound of the next album (or the ones after)… I love that she can do pretty much what she wants, but it would be weird if her only future successes came from a non-album collab or a cover . It’s not the case at the moment, but…

BoZ confirmed that WCE and LYTAN are two separate songs that share one line in common (RCS), like the candle in the wind line in three songs from her.

They are also taking W magazine’s interview for what’s to come. And when we think of it, this is the only official piece of info we have of this album. (except Rob’s posts) and here we are at 88 pages of pre-release.

I wasn’t a big fan of these as “official era” photos to begin with Reminds me of when my girlfriends and I, as teenagers, made photos for the sake of it, thinking we were all supermodels but it looked exactly what it was supposed to look like: shot by teenagers with no budget.

We haven’t seen her in the studio for a long time… she either: 1- is taking a break from the album; 2- is done with it.

She can release whatever she wants, even though my wish would be for bigger songs this time around. If there are summery songs in the mix, I want them this summer but if there aren’t, I can wait a bit longer. (watch me do a 180 degree turn tomorrow )

Maybe their collabs will be on Nikki’s album?

I love those aesthetics… but culturally speaking, it would be perceived as a “set back” in her own timeline. my dream project of her, while still being ironic, controversial and feminist-ish, would be if she had a whole album where she is now a cult leader Trippy vibes, we are her puppets…

I don’t think she minds at all that her management is teasing the new album; if she did, she wouldn’t even had posted videos in the studio and she would have kept her father from his phone Rob is the one that “teased” the most this era. It could even be her strategy, this time around: people around her talk about it and not her as much.

What if insiders decided to let her do her “surprise” announcement? Or even a surprise drop, while we’re on the delulu train.
