  1. Can’t speak of the Lanatokers lol because I avoid TikTok like the plague, if only for the fact that the music lover in me is crying out loud when I hear a teenager say: « Oh there’s my song! » , referring to the 15-second snippet that went viral and they never go listen to the whole damn song ever
  2. My dog and I were strolling trough my favourite park, by the river, this morning, and God Knows I Tried started playing… and the scenery fitted the song perfectly, with its pastel colours, the fog on the river, the sunrise… truly magical. https://imgur.com/gallery/gUOfXdh
  3. The W interview give me « darker side of Honeymoon » vibes to the new album orchestral yet not as polished, angrier…
  4. Dont Forget the Neverending birthday posts in June
  5. This song will always have a special place in my heart. Back in 2015, I was on a trip to California and Las Vegas. The first part of the trip was in California. The whole trip, I was vibing hard to UV. On the last night of the trip, as we were leaving LA, I’m back to my hotel room, I open up Insta… and Lana had posted the first teaser of the title track… The eerie vibes, the Honeymoon line repeated, the somber strings, the tiger… It’s one of her most hypnotic Lynchian tracks ever, one I associate with hot summer evenings. I love this song so much.
  6. I’m not sure but tend to think it won’t be, even if I really like it. BB was all about telling her story and revisiting her past, so I Can Fly made sense for storytelling I guess, even though it was a bit of a stupid idea to include an officially released track on a new album. But who honestly knows with her?
  7. You’re probably right about the direction of the album. When describing her passed works, she pretty much always described the songs she working on at the moment, so maybe there are a few « automatic writing » songs but I doubt the « older stuff » was done similarly.
  8. I still prefer Del Norte County it reminds me of West Coast…
  9. When we think of it, we had some real iconic moments as a fandom. LFL was also very eventful: the radio premieres, the many interviews and photoshoots where she revealed song titles… and the contrasts in her plain and direct tweets (July 21 fam / « it leaked, see y’a in an hour! » « you better not, little fucker »)
  10. Just looked it up on Lanapedia and you’re right. I’ll edit my post! Thanks! I wasn’t that huge of a Stan back then and only remember the Insta posts.
  11. Now This is my kind of manifestation!!! to this day, VB’s release and radio premiere is THE moment for me, as a Lana Stan: to hear that she had finally dived into the trippy vibes full-on mode that I always dreamed she’d do, In a 9-minute+ single channeling Crimson and Clovers (fucking love this song), followed by an interview where she revealed the iconic album title, AND TO LIVE IT ALL WITH YOU IN REAL TIME?!? I mean, it was my wet dream moment. Anything remotely sounding like VB, I’d be sold. second fave moment as a Stan might be when we found out COCC’s tracklist and almost-release date through Shazam and Alexa respectively. (This could be a nice thread on its own, best and worst moment on LB…)
  12. Alright, I had another good night sleep and it gave me hope again to put on my clown makeup again (haha) and say that the W interview is the official start of the era, even if we don’t have an album name. I gathered where she revealed the album name through médias for previous eras I remembered. - UV: Tropico premiere, followed by Insta post (thanks, @takemetothegasstation) -HM was it at an event or through an e-magazine? I do remember that she said she had a record named Music To Watch Boys To; -LFL: the trailer I think? -NFR: radio première of VB, one of the two first singles; -Chemtrails: first mention of said record was through an e-magazine, NFR’s release day, saying she was working on the next album, not wanting to take a break. she casually let the title out in her QFTC post. I don’t even think it was meant to be revealed so soon. Interview magazine, with an official photoshoot, gave us more insights on the project, which was revealed Labor Day Weekend; LMLYLAW followed in October. -BB: Insta post with Picsart in April. Triple single release in late May. It was renamed after her Insta post of RCS, the day after COCC was released. so… no, we don’t have an album name yet. But why do a printed magazine interview, with professional photoshoot, mentioning the album if it wasn’t coming sonner rather than later? Keep in mind though that the music industry is having a hard time with their schedule (every damn artist recorded during the pandemic and vinyl supply chains can’t meet demand - didn’t Lana herself said it took now five months for vinyls to be made? We’re far from the 90-day period between finishing an album and release, in the LFL era), but I think a single before end of summer is realistic. She’s been real quiet in the past weeks, before her trip, and Jack is going back on tour. Plus the interview gave me the impression that the direction of this album was set and has been only « recently »; before that, last year and early winter, she was maybe more casually recording? so what do you think?
  13. Could be that (I honestly know nothing about her, except a song or two, but lurking on this thread is pure entertainment when you have no emotional attachement to the outcome ), or it could also be, in her défense, that the music industry has been on its head for the passed year. EVERYONE recorded during the pandemic and is ready to release an album… but the vinyl supply chain can’t meet demand, so plans for a proper rollout before an album, change all the time and are pushed back. Maybe this is what happened with the single: they don’t want to release it too much ahead, especially if her fans waited for so fucking long for her comeback, it would trigger PTSDs.
  14. BoZ, on Twitter about the new Caroline P songs he had heard so far. he spilled nothing on Lana yet.
  15. Alright, I had a night to sleep on it and well, yesterday I was like: and today, I’m more: . not because of what she said in that interview about the sound and direction of the album so far (I’m very intrigued, although the lack of Colour in the new songs is a tad sad, and that she now needs to write when someone is with her rather than when she is alone). Many of you, realistically, pointed out that we still don’t have any idea if we’re in the era yet or if she just started mentioning it. For all we know, it could be very well coming next year. Plus our two reliable insiders are still saying nothing about it. No way I am putting myself through the motions like I did with NFR or even COCC and expecting anxiously news or a snippet of it anytime soon. Until we have another clear confirmation of the existence and somewhat « near » release of the album, I am going back to sleep
  16. He said the new songs from her, what he had heard, were excellent, like 11/10.
  17. Totally true, and yet I wonder if Interscope could change its mind about it. The damn vinyl chain supply not being able to meet demand, mixed with the Billboard rules that physical copies count the day they are shipped / out and not as preorder, all of this had BB’s numbers suffer on week 1. If all the vinyls and CDs had been ready on time, she would have peaked at number 2 or 3 in the US rather than number 8 (I think). Interscope should have a digital release and vinyls preorders near that date: we’d all buy physical copies anyways.
  18. We’ve been manifesting QFTC way too much since this interview…
  19. NFR hands down for me. It dragged too long and she teased way too much, way too much ahead of release. There were also almost no interviews and when there were, it was almost always about the Gucci perfume… or Violet that she started teasing. The proper era began, IMO, with the trailer and preorder. NFR was not that bad considering how « small » the era was and how it wasn’t a long pre-release era.
  20. Maybe she doesn’t want to repeat BB’s mistake, where the album changed name (almost twice)? Or she is still very much in the process of it all
  21. I’m really wondering how far off in the project she is. It looked like she worked a lot on it in the last weeks, prior her trip, but maybe it’s just me being delulu. One thing for sure: if Jack’s part is not done, it won’t be for a while, since he is on tour for a big part of summer.
  22. Of course, BoZ is talking about Dua and Caroline P on Twitter
