So LYTAN never was RCS?!?! And she reused that line for her new album, that BoZ heard?

Confession: when someone says a song has Lizzy vibes to it, I never know what they refer to or what to really expect i mean, is it acoustic guitar like the sets she used to play in her bar shows? Is it because of the « in your face daddy and drugs » lyrics? Is it something similar to David Kahne’s production of AKA?!?

UnLess coming from BoZ or Eclipse, no one is saying anything that I do believe 100%,to be honest. But before she releases anything, rumours and speculations are a big part of the fun… I love posting Twitter rumours here even though they often are bullshit and, just to kickstart the conversation on other topics than « Jack is a flop, Chuck is a dud of a photographer and the vinyl should be that Colour » (I have nothing against vinyls, Chuck or Jack lol). As I said before, there are surely many people outside of this forum that have access to Lana stuff but stay quiet about it; when I see rumour accounts, I like to keep them in mind just for the probability of maybe having another source for Lana that isn’t BoZ (now that is giving a lot of power to someone lol). anyways…

I always find these videos creepy… but maybe being in love with Mike Hermosa could influence LDR9… I wonder if her breakup with Clay made her scrap happy songs from BB…

Well, I don’t find it shit, but the lyrics sure didn’t live to my expectations. The theme of losing someone and being In denial is better expanded / developed on Dark Paradise. Production by Dan Heath slays though. anyways, I think (hope) she’ll release it this time… or we know exactly who to harrass this time around if she doesn’t come through

Awww to think of the meltdowns of this album… The cover! The tracklist (what? No Dealer? No new songs we haven’t found out in December through Shazam?!?)! but the title track and MV: it’s still so beautiful. And the White Dress excitement that began… it’s not a perfect album (my concerns with it are similar to some of the concerns I have with LFL), but the standout songs of this album are part of the best songs she ever released ❤️❤️❤️

totally agree with you! but it seems that the last era that had me satisfied for a long period of time was Norman, which I enjoyed for a full year. It’s either I’m becoming more and more dependant, like an addict wanting more crack, or I’m getting more impatient with age that being said, whenever the teasing game becomes more and more precise (lyrics, captions, snippet), this is when I’m getting on full-speed mode of expectations! That being said, as much as I thought the Norman pre-release was excruciating, I don’t mind if she changes her mind or delays things, or simply takes the time to live and be in a good creating mood: very few artists have given us as much as she has, in terms of not only albums, but also a clear and coherent story told through her projects IN THE SHORT SPAN OF 10 YEARs! I will forever be grateful for this woman.

I honestly feel super greedy, waiting for some LDR9 news when she did give us two superb album in 2021 (maybe it’s my January blues kicking in). I knew she was in the studio and that touring is not an « obstacle » to her creativity and writing process and that it can speed up the album process. The DNC jacket and her saying the album was already better than the last one had me curious. But bless and curse BoZ at the same time for spilling about lyrics : now I am anxious for any news dropping anytime

I do agree with you that anything outside BoZ or Eclipse is never 100% sure… and yet, so many people that nobody suspected pulled out some leaks out of nowhere in-between eras… My point is that there are probably more people than we think that have info / intel about her albums but stay quiet about it. So who knows? Maybe this new « insider » is for real after all and has found access to a reliable source 🤷🏼

Lana is the queen of ballads and it’s inevitable that there will be some on LDR9, but I’m totally with you on a more upbeat / bop ish album. Serene Queen, though not a super upbeat song, has the vibes that would be fantastic on this next project.

Actually, Jesse R from the Neighborhood has posted, in his IG stories this week, a pic of him in the studio. Plus his recent looks really have these retro / vintage vibes, and he did say that he had kept his Lana collab for a specific project… Will 2022 finally be the year we’ll hear that damn collab?!? as for MGK, well, he has kept his collab in his hard drive for so long it probably won’t ever fit any album ever.
