Not against folk and country, just not for a July album and not after Chemtrails. Even though it would be the perfect « continuation » to that album. She needs to switch it up a bit before dwelling into those genres full mode.

Someone mentioned earlier that either what they say is 100% true or 100% not at all. I also saw a fan account mentioning a « reliable insider » that there would be a Lorde collab. But I didn’t check the rest of the conversation and it could only be a joke.

I prefer ranking the most horrible pre-releases I’ll start: NFR >>>>> COCC > LFL > UV >>>>> HM as for BTD and P, I wasn’t that huge a Stan back then, and was listening to her casually (I even didn’t like Video Games that much and thought she was fake, with her SNL performance).

I’m still fine with Candle in the wind, as long as it’s not in any other songs. The trilogy of songs the line is featured in is spectacular, but she can give it a rest now. Same with the red party dress: it ran its course. I thought the colour blue had its course as well, but apparently I’m still fine with it being in a Lana song.

I don’t know if I prefer that one or the COCC one... Although I finally received by Chemtrails box set and the standard cover is better looking in hand. But the « blue shade » and the BB font is really not it.

I have a feeling that 3 and 4 will be merged and that maybe they could be a double release with the Nikki album? plus there are surely a couple of side projects we know nothing about (soundtracks, collabs)

I just love how the BB snippet can be listened to on loop because of the atmospheric music in the background. Most of snippets end abruptly or have some shift in the music and it’s not as harmonious to listen to on loop.

That would make the next releases worse: we would have to (gasp) trust her word on it!!!

It’s not my fave either. I mean, it’s a cute lullaby, but it hasn’t stuck with me yet. I wouldn’t be disappointed if it ended up on an album, but I sure wouldn’t freak out like I did when we got confirmation Yosemite had made it on Chemtrails.

I love Blue Banisters as a song title, but not sure how « strong » it is as an album title. It sure is very « singer songwriter ». Rock Candy Sweet was cute , but a bit too much on the nose as an album title, like White Hot Forever or Honeymoon.

Billie is releasing on July 30. as for a non-Friday date, it’s never totally impossible. Not likely, but... However, to release on July 4 being a holiday, it makes more sense. Like releasing a movie on Christmas even though it’s not a Friday.

It was her shortest era. And the more I think about it, the more it looked like « screens and mirrors » and kinda distraction from the other project she was preparing (BB). Many pointed out that Clay’s outfit was from this past November, in her livestream she talked about the cover album for Christmas... but there was a good chunk of BB that seems to have been prepared and planned for rollout. she is always two steps ahead of us. I dont get the feeling that this insider is a big Lana fan. So maybe this explains the « pretty sure »? Or it’s bullshit like you said.

Oh!!! The snippet does sound like Black Beauty, but has the dark atmosphere of Fine China, two incredible Rick tracks. So is Rick back??!?!!! (Was he ever gone lol) anyways, anything as atmospheric as Yosemite will be a serve.

Me, before snippet: I want light and summery jams. Me, after snippet: it’s the sad song I didn’t know I needed I love that we know nothing of this album. We have a lot of speculations, but no certainties. We don’t even know who the producer is, when it was recorded, even the main direction of the album. we now know the drill, ladies: 1- Shazam the damn snippet until it’s recognized; 2- send nudes to insiders in exchange for tangible info.

Maybe Mike Dean is one of many producers for this album? what if BB is a Zach song??!
