Referring to Charli as XCX3 is still so weird to me like, it doesn't feel like XCX3. It feels like atleast XCX5 since she said that N1A and Pop 2 are actually albums she just released as mixtapes to get them out quicker. Both mixtapes also def had their own era. I wonder what Charli's opinion on this is.

The wait between 1999 and the next single was too long, to then release Blame It On Your Love, a song that had leaked and already been released (in an arguably better form) 18 months prior.
 
And I love Gone, I think it's the best of the 3 singles so far... But to me it never felt like a radio hit, it feels more alternative, so surely they weren't expecting a smash with that.

Calling WM overrated when people are begging for a song with one verse and a neverending chorus? Lol k.
