okay, so, now i really really love to here knows when, i've listened to their EP you made me realize and i didn't find myself impressed by it, and i'm listening to their first album isn't anything and i'm not into it either i'll have to see how their latest album is, i would hope it's more similar to loveless which is incredible and so beautiful, but their earlier output from what i've heard isn't really anything special to me, especially not any of the horny songs like slow and soft as snow really could've went without listening to those ones lol but i will still listen to their other projects, loveless is just so beautiful

also, on my playlists on youtube (i'm a cheapskate who won't pay for a streaming service) i will rarely ever shuffle it, i'll usually pick out a song, and consciously choose which one i want to listen to next, i don't even shuffle that often anymore on my itunes where my unrelease lana music is, i just like going out of my way to chose which songs i'll be listening to, i know that's probably pretty unconvential, but it works for me and i like how intentional it is, instead of just waiting to see what random song will pop up that you may not be in the mood for

it depends, sometimes i can get really fixated on a certain artist or even just a certain album (right now it's loveless by my bloody valentine) recently i've also found myself fixated on opal, also mazzy star, and specifically the lizzy grant music of 2007, honestly i find myself gravitated more towards her 2005-2007 work most but obviously i still love her most recent work and lately i've been obsessed with candy necklace who knows, maybe i'll find myself fixated on ultraviolence or something like that in the future, but regardless, her pre-fame, lizzy grant work is always an easy listen for me

a morgan wallen collab would be the absolute worst decision for her to make, controversies aside, from what i've heard, his music sounds like hot garbage and collaborating with such a basic, mainstream, commercialized country artist who's hardly actually country, and who's also known for saying the n-word, would be a very embarrassing look for her, she could do so much better

for some reason fans seem to think she's saying "tell me about brian and his girl" and i cannot understand for the life of me how people are mistaking "ray" for "BRIAN"- 403 replies

the spirit of lizzy grant lives on with her random and unprovoked wigs also, yeah, this interview was super boring there's so many interesting and fascinating things they could've asked her or discussed, but it's the same shit about her authenticity and how people perceived her a decade ago, ask her about her writing process, ask her about the early years of her career, ask her about her favorite songs from her albums, give us the tea! it isn't that hard- 347 replies

1 dead and 1,000+ hospitalized at Taylor Swift concert in Brazil
Dark Angel replied to PARADIXO's topic in World News
exactly, it has only been a few days since everything has occurred, but taylor didn't even call the fan who passed away by her name in her instagram story or share a photo of her, she just referred to her as a fan, it just feels so impersonal, like i said previously, we can't know for certain how she feels, but regardless of how emotional you may feel about it, would it really be that hard for her to address what had happened at the next show? was she really just going to continue performing the same songs as if nothing had happened? a young woman lost a life at her concert and others had to go to the hospital, i don't believe it's her fault, but nothing should be preventing her from properly acknowledging and showing support and solace, she has the resources to help out the family as well, there's really no excuse, she's literally a billionaire, she could've sent some money over to ana's family, she could've posted more than a vague instagram story about a fan dying, i know taylor can't bring her back to life or take away the family's pain, but she could've done more to at least show that she cares and that she has empathy towards the situation- 164 replies

Dark Angel replied to PARADIXO's topic in World News
i find it disappointing and honestly surprising that she hasn't really said anything about the situation or reached out to any families, of course, she seems to mostly care about herself, but it's just insane to me that somebody's fan could literally die at their concert and they wouldn't go out of their way to support the family and to show support towards the community at large, ariana grande was very shocked and saddened by what happened in manchester, she visited her fans in the hospitals, and hosted a benefit concert, i'm not saying taylor swift doesn't care at all, or that she's to blame for what was ultimately the venue's fault, but i feel like she really could do more than post one instagram story about it, i don't know, i can't say for sure how taylor actually feels, but i personally would be devastated if somebody who came to my concert died, and i would go out of my way to support the family and the community no matter what people really need to stop idolizing people they don't know, especially when it's obvious they aren't great people and only care about themselves, at this point in the world, we really need to stop being blinded by such things and see them for how they really are -

saying you feel blessed that you live in a country that's apparently more developed or more safe in a thread about somebody in brazil dying isn't innocuous, it's insensitive and also makes you look stupid, tragedies and horrible things can happen in any country, the united states are in no way exempt from that, we currently have a massive gun violence issue that's pretty much only unique to us, obviously it is one of the most developed countries but it isn't some perfect utopia where nothing bad happens, and what happened at taylor's concert wasn't even about the country in which it took place, it was about the people running the venue being horribly selfish, because they wanted to make more of a profit and they were so bothered by people outside looking inside the building to watch the show there's nothing wrong with liking where you live or feeling happy to be there, but sometimes you've just got to read the room, especially when you follow it by claiming that brazil is underdeveloped in a thread about a tragedy occurring in brazil -

going out of your way to make some sort of point of how apparently underdeveloped brazil is in a thread discussing thousands of people being in danger, and the death of a young woman, is very gross and insensitive, regardless of how developed brazil is, it's clear that everything that occurred was easily preventable, the people who were running the venue didn't allow free water, and they closed the vents so people outside couldn't watch the show, it got so hot inside that it reached 140 degrees fahrenheit, that's extremely dangerous and not fit for life, and it could've been prevented, it wasn't at all about how developed or undeveloped the country was, that wouldn't even be relevant anyway, you just sound very insensitive, ignorant... also classist at that also, it's funny that you somehow think USA doesn't have places that look similar to this, USA isn't necessarily the pinnacle of sophisticated modernity, and people end up in the hospital or dead from the heat here too, our summers can be brutal- 164 replies

well, in that case, venues should be providing water for free, i'm sure they make plenty of money from the concert tickets, merch sales, etc. i think they should be able to provide a basic necessity, water, for no charge, especially if it can be life or death on hot days -

i think it's just insane that they don't let you bring water, or that they even charge money for water at all, it's just WATER, it should be free and people should be able to bring water if they want! -
