i think i see what you guys are talking about, i see that she also has a marilyn monroe tattoo i can understand that maybe the person who has the tattoo is just interested in old hollywood or elizabeth short as a person, but getting a tattoo of her, a murder victim, and having the tattoo labeled as "black dahlia" instead of her real name is very disrespectful and just wrong, honestly i don't think there's any reason to have a tattoo of her in the first place because she isn't even known as an old hollywood actress, just as a murder victim it reminds me of jeffree star's (i know he's a garbage human-being but still) jonbenet ramsey tattoo... i believe he was going for a "dead beauty queen" sort of thing because he also has tattoos of marilyn monroe and sharon tate, and i don't think it's necessarily wrong to have tattoos of them because ultimately they are known for their careers (although the whole dead beauty queen thing isn't very nice) but a tattoo of a murdered six year-old-girl is just horrible, people suck

i haven't listened to it at all and i never plan to, i don't care for taylor swift's music really at all, especially not if it's basically a taylor swift song with quiet background vocals from lana... and then she releases a different version with more lana vocals... but of course, she has to capitalize off of her work as much as possible and couldn't just release the version with more of lana to begin with

obviously there's room in the industry for everybody... it would be unrealistic to expect every singer to be a genius songwriter who can craft intricate masterpieces from scratch and to write masterful, intriguing lyrics... but i believe singers/musicians who do write their own music have more artistic merit, there's a difference between somebody who put their own creativity and soul into a song and somebody who sings over a demo created by somebody who actually has the skill to craft a song... i'm not saying artists who simply sing over demos have no talent or creativity, but let's not act like they're on the same level artistically as people who actually put in the effort to compose and write their music lol
