  1. since she's performing at a folk festival, should we expect her to perform more folky songs or perform with a more folk-oriented sound? it would be a great opportunity for her to sing some lizzy grant stuff...
  2. possibly not, since most of the screenshots were from other websites that no longer exist, if you look at the bottom-right corner, you'll see a watermark for a website for domaintools.com and it doesn't seem like that website exists anymore
  3. honestly they sound like they're parodying lana haters on the internet lol
  4. it's been a while! sirens: a star for nick, out with a bang, dear elliot, try tonight, peace, how do you know me so well?, and move AKA: gramma (blue ribbon sparkler trailer heaven), for k, pt. 2, mermaid motel, and yayo (honestly pretty much every song off of AKA is my favorite but sometimes there's certain songs i'm especially feeling) born to die: off to the races and summertime sadness paradise: gods and monsters ultraviolence: money power glory and guns and roses honeymoon: swan song, maybe? lust for life: heroin norman fucking rockwell: bartender chemtrails over the country club: yosemite blue banisters: wildflower wildfire did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd: candy necklace

  10. it's honestly so cool that she's eager to work with anybody, even local musicians, it goes to show how down-to-earth and passionate about music she is
  11. lana recording music in alabama, a place which was obviously significant to her when she was younger, is honestly so special manifesting gorgeous, elusive, nostalgic, haunting vibes akin to pin up galore, rehab, oh say can you see, and yayo

  13. are we still fucking fighting about who's producing or what the music will sound like?

  19. since the acapella demo is said to be from 2006, it could possibly be about sirens, however, depending on what period during 2006, she could be referring to a very early iteration of AKA, since demos of disco, let my hair down, and oh say can you see were recorded on january 14, 2007, and demos of for k, pt. 2, get drunk, and raise me up (mississippi south) were recorded on february 28, 2007, it wouldn't be impossible that very early demos or just writings for these songs existed in late 2006, not to mention that pawn shop blues was definitely already in existence in 2006, perhaps what she meant changed as time went on, the acapella demo could've been referring to sirens, or maybe what she wanted to become AKA, and the 2008 laptop demo could've been about the finished and completed AKA produced by david kahne, remember how she mentioned a trailer park friend named jim in the index magazine interview? hmm...
