I am so close to getting May 26th and March 29th tattooed on me... Let's make July 2nd the final one for my holy trinity tattoo

It's gonna be intriguing, especially considering the solo material they've all recently put out... I mean Ariana is all trap-pop, yuh (mumbling etc). Miley is still lost somewhere between county and hip hop (screaming through her nose) and then Lana is being all sad at Jacks piano (writing about mom cars and sounding bored). I'm excited. (I really hope there isn't a music video - Lana will look so out of place and uncool, like Regina's mom.)

Let's just hope that Ariana isn't portraying Alex / Lucy Lui or the whole drama about Ariana appropriating Asian culture (I know it was mainly Japanse trends and not Chinese btw) might come back and get her.

It still baffles me that we had 2 singles and confirmation that an early draft of the album was complete (with title) in September last year, then confirmation the whole project was completed in December and now we still have 2 months to wait... For what? A collaboration with Ariana and Miley, I agree it's nice to see her doing something fun. But I hope she tries or the critics will be coming for her, especially since Ariana can't do no wrong as of late.

Can somebody remind me what the Israel controversy was again? How did it affect Lana?

Or maybe it's cos touring makes her more money than releasing music, so it's in her interest to sell the tickets rather than get streams?

I am hyped for the album but I also wouldn't say no to another XCXmas this August... Just outtakes from the mixtapes and album though - no new stuff. Looking at you Party 4 U, Bricks, Dance All Night, Shoes, Party Party etc.

She said we'd get 2 more songs before the album... if Doin Time is one of them that means Norman Fucking Rockwell could be the next (it's tradition for her to release the title track before the album) and then it's showtime? If Doin Time wasn't one of them maybe Happiness Is A Butterfly and Norman Fucking Rockwell?

I really don't want her to do a Kim Petras... I wanna enjoy this campaign and not have the whole album before release. Ideally we'd get 2099 as a buzz single and then Gone as the second official single (with music video), then a second buzz single before the album. I imagine she has other collabs lined up and features, hence the feed you for 5 months straight.

I'm sad cos I feel like Norman Fucking Rockwell could be her best workd and it's gonna be tainted now for fans and probably ignored by the GP and it's all down to her own fuckery and killing the hype. Also, if her teasing the title track means something is coming - what do we think the singles from this era will be? I'm assuming Happiness will be the "lead" single... Could Norman be the second single?

Her next 2 posts better be the album cover then tracklist... I honestly don't even need a date. I'd take the album cover with a caption like "luv this collection of songs me and jack made, can't wait for u to hear them" or like "NORMAN FUCKING ROCKWELL coming soon"

I really don't believe that Happiness Is A Butterfly is the title track... She said very early on (March 2018) that the song was titled Happiness Is A Butterfly, in the clip of her and the dancers, on her insta, they also call it Happiness... Plus the description of the title track, Norman Fucking Rockwell, doesn't match with the lyrical content of Happiness... I do believe that Happiness... was intended to be and still may be the lead single (with the promo, her referring to it as her new song and then the music video) - and I think that's why she captioned that teaser of the song with the album title. It was around the time that Lana was in full promo mode, teasing songs and performing etc. Perhaps they were gonna push the single at that time as an introduction to the record... But who knows?

To think that since the official XCX3 era began with Vroom Vroom, up until Charli we have received (or are about to receive) 45 songs from Charli as the lead artist! 45 SONGS! We really did win and don't deserve her... Never mind all the features and leaks including the whole of XCX World.
