Yeah I appreciate more time and effort went into the XCX World artwork and I do like it for that album, but I just couldn't imagine her releasing that album cover after she'd done Number 1 Angel if that makes sense... Her image has evolved since 2016, I low key would've liked her to have long hair on this cover though. I also wish they'd done more with the text... like the mixtapes.

What??? I'm the opposite tbh, her visuals have excelled since Vroom Vroom… Number 1 Angel and Pop 2 are both beautiful and the monthly drops were great too! I always felt that XCX World felt out of place and you could tell it was a vision she had pre-mixtape Charli. I personally love the album cover.

We already have Good Girls, Taxi, CTMP and Waterfall in some form too... I'm just thinking about cohesion and what 2019 Charli represents. I'm here for Party 4 U but the others would just feel out of place and messy.

What are people expecting February 2017 to sound like... I'm intrigued cos that was quite a difficult time in her career, the album had been delayed, Bounce had bombed, she was trying to release a mixtape and the label were being difficult. I'm hoping for her to dish some of the dirt about the struggle she's had to release the album... Like it's a specific date so I'm intrigued... Unless it's when she got back with her boyfriend?

Honestly those songs are so Charli and still have the Pop 2 vibes she's going for with this album, I'll probably add 5 In The Morning and Focus to my album anyways (remove 1999). I would die for a deluxe edition of the new album but I'm happy that we finally have an album! Do we think it's likely that the Japanese edition of the album will feature some of the singles from last year... I remember Sucker was originally gonna have SuperLove included but then got replaced by the japanese versions of Boom Clap and Break The Rules. Norman Fucking Rockwell is not scrapped... It was one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, she's worked with Jack Antonoff who came off the back of huge albums like Melodrama and 1989 - Interscope isn't going to scrap this material. The three singles we got were well received and some of her best in a few years, plus her cover of Doin Time is doing pretty good which shows she still has commercial appeal. The problem here is Lana and Lana only.

I'm so hyped for Charli but I don't believe this all we're getting from her... Only 15 songs (2 being older songs 1999 and Blame It On Your Love) plus the inclusion of White Mercedes and I Don't Wanna Know (from the 24hr album). She said that she had 27 songs that she loved! I feel an EP or mixtape coming after this album...

Charli will be XCX3 in my eyes as it's her 3rd studio album... I know there's a whole load of label politics and matters of opinion about the mixtapes and whether they're albums or not but in my eyes I see Charli as XCX3... As for what makes up the unreleased album, it's still just the whole of XCX World, is it not? Bar After The Afterparty, No Angel and Girls Night Out which all saw a release.

I'm really hoping that Next Level Charli is a 6 minute opener and a fusion of Track 10 meets Robyn's Human Being. Knowing Charli it will just be Taxi in reverse or something...

Realistically, she should perform Happiness Is A Butterfly at the show on June 22nd, confirm it is her new single and release the song (alongside music video) and album pre-order for Norman Fucking Rockwell the following Friday, June 28th. Have the album be released in late July (26th) or early August (9th) and perform a few more songs whilst doing the summer festivals. I just want it over now... All in one day preferably, even if it means just CD and black vinyl. I don't need the vinyl variants, box set, cassette and signed copies, I just want the music. (once she's dumped the album on us she can crack on doing her poetry book and get it released in fall or in time for Christmas - it would even be nice to include a poem in the album booklet as a teaser).

I hope you're right, I just dont wanna get my hopes up anymore aha. This era has really killed the magic of LDR for me.

Since BIOYL is on the album, I'd quite like it to be the opening track, but mixed with Track 10 in the intro (like she did live) as a continuation from Pop 2.

For real, imagine we get 2 albums... Both like a ying and yang making up XCX3. The first being "POP HEAV3N", like you said very pop and light in terms of aesthetic, she could play on the whole Angel thing. Then "POP H3LL" being the other half and more experimental and artsy. I wouldn't mind, but I'd rather it be 15 tracks on both sides, she said there were like 27 she loved! So fingers crossed.

Just thinking about the whole "XCX Girl In A XCX World" aesthetic and that YT series she did last summer called "XCX World", I wouldn't even be mad if that was still the album title. I also really like "HEAV3N" or even "POP HEAV3N" (like she teased in an interview last year, the whole heaven + hell rave concept)... guess we'll find out soon!

I kinda hope she drops the tracklist tomorrow, then the preorder and BIOYL music video on Friday.

Okay, so we really need to put Norman Fucking Rockwell aside... Why? Because we know from the Interscope press releases that there is a campaign planned and that an official lead single will preceed the album, this is what we need to ask about, when will we get the lead single? Also, Lana seems dead certain on releasing her poetry book before the album, so again we need to find out when the poetry book is coming. Until there's a lead single or poetry book insight we might as well forget about the album.

This!!!! Especially when Lady Gaga only rose to fame singing about partying (Just Dance) or her desire to be rich etc (The Fame). None of it was ground breaking, even her style was a rip off of Bowie but just more drunk white girl. All she did was write meaningless pop music and catchy lyrics yet she's being used an example to discredit Charli. Also isn't it Gaga who's worked with Sophie on her upcoming album, when Charli did that 3 years ago?
