  1. i love the side/yayo overlap but i wish the last chorus verse was and all my boyfriends tbh
  2. When you're singing along, you can interchange i'm pretty when I cry from Pretty When You Cry with money on the side from Sad Girl because the melodies are very similar.
  3. No, an article noted him as her fiancé, but she later denied that they were engaged.
  4. Shimmer body instead of share my body in Cruel World
  5. Fearne is the bomb.com. She played Lana on the radio before anyone else did and she also premiered West Coast.
  6. After listening to this song ten thousand times, I feel like the song is completely reminiscent, especially the chorus. My boyfriend's in a band - she could be talking about her old boyfriend while she was playing in clubs and open mic nights. He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed - I think fits because her possible boyfriend of the time introduced her to that era of rock, much like she says Mr. Campbell introduced her to some genres. I've got feathers in my hair - this sounds like she's remembering a time where she felt free and comfortable with her surroundings and herself. I get down to beat poetry - she's talked about how she wanted to be a poet and it didn't work out, so she could be talking about the time while she was in the poetry scene, when she also felt like she was with her people. I'm a Brooklyn Baby - even though she lived in Europe and now lives in LA, she is a Brooklyn girl at heart and the events that took place while she lived there shaped the rest of her life. But, I always think she should be singing I'm a Placid baby
  7. Lol @ my boyfriend's in a band because barrie isn't in a band anymore unless she's talking about jimmy

  9. Fucked and Old Money are giving me palpitations Was Black Beauty re-recorded? Because it sounds so similar to the leaked version to me Also, why do some of the songs credit her as Lana Del Rey and the others credit her as Elizabeth Grant?

Who's voice is in in the last chorus? The guy's?
  11. Not without the instrumental underscore, but if you want that one, I can PM you. I think they were just flirting with her to maybe see if she would be a good fit. I don't think she was signed to them though.
  12. Hahahaha I do. I agree with Lana that women should do what they want. I don't agree with feminists in general who put their selves in the decisions of other women. If Lana loved a man who was abusive, why is that some feminist's business? And why should not being a feminist be a bad thing or being an anti-feminist be a bad thing? The whole "Born to Die is so anti-feminist" thing, who gives a fuck? People should just leave each other alone and let them do whatever they want.
  13. I hear crying tears of gold like lemonade I feel like it's stark like s...ark
  14. Every woman does not have to be a feminist. I sure as hell am not. In the words of Shai Woodley, the idea of raise power to women, take power away from men doesn't work. Even if she was an anti-feminist, what is the problem with that? but LOL at the fact that she's just bored with and uninterested in the subject of feminism
  15. Oh my god this will be great. She did a Maida Vale session on January 23, 2012 and performed Born to Die and Million Dollar Man which sound amazing and is one of my favorite studio live sessions.
  16. I ordered her vinyls on FNAC which is the french website and it said that it delivers on the 16th so i think it's a mistake. The release dates are the 16th in the UK and 17th in the US
