No. Judging by her recent comments, I would guess that the album reached a point of being close to finished, or even finished and Lana did not hear herself in the music. Guessing it went too far into the country genre and she needs time to reevaluate the album as whole. My opinion is Lana leaning into the married life for the rest of 2024 and we'll get some news (possibly) next Spring. This does make me wonder what Lana will be performing at Stagecoach next April.

What will be the most telling is if any of the upcoming released track names line up with the redacted tidbits that a certain birdie dropped today. With seemingly everyone on here wondering if Lasso is iconic or not... I fell down a rabbit hole researching the actual term/word Lasso. The thing itself actually has an interesting history dating back to ancient Egypt. The modern term comes way of the Spanish via their Mexican conquest. We all know that Lana's album titles come from song titles, and Lana does her fair share of linguistic research. She has repeatedly used words and phrasing to her advantage throughout her discography. He has a song called 'Emo Like Lana' His music is exactly what you would suspect

It appears the original chorus idea came from a female song writer named Elysse Yulo. She was tagged in that kid Maddox's pic. She posted a voice memo of her trying to come up with the original melody. Guessing she then played it for other writers and Maddox...then somehow Clay got ahold of it. Just tossing my 2cent into the ring of possibilities. Maybe Tough was originally for Lasso, but since Lana has scrapped, canceled or pushed the album release back for another year or so, Quavo wanted the track for his new, upcoming album. Maybe Quavo is going the Shaboozey soundscape for his upcoming project. I mean he is from the South so it's not too much of a stretch. Bey has kinda pushed the country doors open for black artists nowadays. Tough def screams country-esque with it's lyrics and sound. Honestly, I have no idea tbh. I was really thinking this was going to be a Lana track, esp since she is featured so heavily in the song.
