I agree with ALL of these. Supernatural is really good. The Boy is Mine is a SNOOZE. I think the album sounds a lot different from the forever21 music Yes And was. And I'm thankful. It is a LOT slower than expected and I feel like she's missing her range? Which was an interesting route. But its chill and nice. I think it's a smooth transition album.

I'm not trying to be... that person. But having this many variation of the same album with one extra song is so annoying and such a money grab. girl you're a billionaire. This is ridiculous.

They're new album sounds too much like Hayley's solo work to me and while it's listenable and I do care for it. I don't love it.

It's dumb dumb and dum dum. But it's a play on the words because a Dum Dum is an American sucker/lolipop brand. And in classic American slang a "sucker" is someone who is stupid/gullible. We also call people who are stupid dum dums because of the lolipop. So the phrase technically can be used both ways.

I think Gravel would be in the same place you put Girls Up. Just because she mentions it in the lyric. But I could be wrong because artist mention past lyrics/songs all the time.

Fixed it for ya! That "Yet not" could also be "you're not" Which could go with the fact that the next line is that the person used to tell her to mean what she says, so she fumbled because she never means what she says clearly.

No because when I first heard the song the gasp I released when the wife lyric came up. But anyone, the song is so good. She put her all into it.

IT DESERVED SO MUCH. WOULD HAVE BEEN A HITTTTT. Along with White Dior. Tiktok would have ATE IT UP (unfortunate and good at the same time).

I think her loudest is Damn You. That song is DIABOLICALLY loud. The story it tells is so vivid. But the melody and everything is so fun.

My point is, when she's talking about the guy THIS ENTIRE SONG, and has already repeated Nymphology/nymph so much, the lyric change would have added depth. Since he "knows her so well, and thinks he knows it all" Anthropology just would have been like a sarcastic type jab at him thinking he's smart. IDK. I was just stating MY opinion, my bad. ....... The whole song can STILL be about nymphology? She says nymphology 27 thousand more times. Changing that one lyric would have been interesting. IMO. And like I said the song has so much damn filter over her singing I thought she was singing anthology.

IT BUGS ME that in Nymphology apparently she's saying "You can't even spell that you're an expert in NYMPHOLOGY" I SWEEEEAR it sounds like it sounds like "Anthology." But I personally think she should have said "Anthropology" because it would have stayed on topic.

THE WAY I AGREE. I listened to all the other albums and she has great tracks on all of them, but nothing touches BTD ULT and the unreleased. I'm glad she's happier, but it feels so uninspired and monotonous. Anyway, Mel really did a good job on this album. I still listen to it.

I like Portals more as well. Because like I've said in the Ocean Blv thread, Lana has been singing her poetry rather than giving actual melody and making music. I love her music usually and I get that she prides herself on what she's saying, but girl, would it kill you to make things sound more melodic and fun?

.... I didn't think Leches was all that. I also thought the album felt concise and finished. Pluto is cute though.
