I think it's you're feeling hard to push away , I'm feeling hot to the touch. It works with the next bit, You push it hard, I pull away, I'm feeling hotter than fire. I also think the 'cuban like me' part is her quoting the guy, hence it's in Spanish. But yeah, 100% sure it's more like you're feeling hard to push away (or harder?). You can hear the push and the '-ay' in away. It could also be you're falling hard, I push away because 'feeling' sounds more like 'falling'

I have so much goddamn love for West Coast, my love is overflowing and I don't know where to put it so I've put it into Bradley. I never thought of him as attractive until now and I can't stop thinking about him either :/ -

"Video Games" Heavily Sampled in French Montana's New Track.

Omg, it sounds amazing. I never got into VG, but I love this. -
I'm in love with No Better - can someone please explain the line "but you come over at night and we practice all the breathing"? I don't want to assume it's dirty if it's not.

Really? I thought a lot of people did, or maybe I've been watching too much Intervention? Anyways according to the "autobiographical" This Is What Makes Us Girls, it would have been a combination of partying, grades dropping, getting in trouble with cops.. so it would make sense to send her to a strict boarding school like KENT.

Lana Del Rey Nominated for 2 Grammys!
MotelHoney replied to Manueldelrey's topic in Awards & Nominations
Umm, I think that Lorde dissed Lana and pretended to misunderstand National Anthem to get away from the criticism that she was a blatant rip off of her - "if I pretend to not know much about Lana, then I can distance myself from her". That was just my view. She reminds of LDR and Marina, she seemed like she wanted to establish herself as a 'tumblr queen' or whatever? Anyways, I know nothing about the grammys, so when exactly does it finish? I thought it was over weeks ago -
I made a video with subtitles for the spoken parts only (not the songs themselves, of course) - when I first watched Tropico, admittedly I only listen to some lines here and there - I was too distracted by everything else. But going along with what she's saying and how the images of the video tie in with it, it made the whole watching experience infinitely better. And I got to really understand what it was about and what she was going for.

I feel like this was meant to be the perfect Farewell project, a conclusion, it sums up Lana Del Rey pretty nicely. The whole corruption, Paradise lost, I-Love-America and Marilyn/Elvis thing. I guess it means that it's an end to that.

The fuck? My Live or Die video was deleted eons ago by Jarrad Rogers (at least, that's what YouTube told me). -
Has anyone posted the interview with Anthony Mandler. http://entertainment.time.com/2013/12/06/a-qa-with-the-director-of-lana-del-reys-tropico-video/ Some great material. He also mentions that he thinks the 'farewell' was to the character of Lana Del Rey, as in the character she's been playing since she stepped into the spotlight.

This sounds like a Barrie + Lana kind of album. -
the Fall and the baptism's amazing, I love the transition into Bel Air, wished the other two songs transitioned that well. Also love the 'boy, you must be crazy' part.
-
Yeah, I'm 98% certain that won't actually be in the movie, it's just LDR's own trailer. I'm just saying that if she's been editing for a while, it's pretty easy to change it herself.

Great! Too bad with the difference in aspect ratio though...

Lana Del Rey Officially Announces TROPICO, "Coming to a City Near You"
MotelHoney replied to Sitar's topic in New Releases
the trailer looks kinda spring break-ish. Which is good because Spring Breakers is a beautiful and underrated film. -
Because she's so completely human and perfect yet so imperfect at the same time. It's like reading her diary. She doesn't try and be someone she isn't, despite what others might think.

CONFIRMED: Lana Del Rey DID NOT deny Kayne West's Request

Kanye West and LDR are my two biggest idols. I would have died. *Pouts*. -
Has anyone seen the parody, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHemavy3WvU

I got most of summertime sadness wrong when I started to really get into Lana. I even got the title of the song wrong in the chorus, summertime's at a miss.

My favourites would be: - Hard - Rude boy - S&M - Only girl (in the world) I loved her in fashion killa (a$ap) and her latest song + video in 'Pour it up' is amazing, in my opinion. Her style is iconic. Everyone's calling for the video for PIU to be banned, when it's really not that bad at all. It kinda reminds me of the video for Carmen.

1: When did you first discover Lana Del Rey I remember her VEVO ads for 'Born To Die' on Youtube and for some time, I disliked her a lot (don't know why), especially after a roommate said that she was this big scam artist. But then I downloaded SS (remix) and it took off from there and I loved Born To Die. 2: What was the first song that made you fall in love with her music Born To Die 3: Favorite Lana hairstyle Paradise era (a little wavy, light brown). But I like the variety. 4: Favorite live performance Idk 5: Favorite lyric (only one of them) There's nowhere on this earth I would rather be than in your bedroom breathing heavily. 6: Would you make out with Lana if you had the chance to? FUCK YEAH 7: Favorite facial feature Her face is worth more than the sum of its parts, etc. 8: What's one thing you don't like about Lana? She seems a bit closed off, mysterious, not in a good way 9: Have you ever met Lana? I did once in a dream, but she was stand offish and didn't talk to me much, but her sister was very nice. 10: Who's you favorite artist after Lana? Idk, a lot. 11: Would you say you're obsessed or just a really big fan? I don't know the difference, to be honest. 12: What if Lana was secretly an evil zombie would you still love her? I'd respect that she could hide her zombie-ness so well i guess.

Can someone please confirm these lyrics for Team? "Not very pretty, but we sure know how to run things." (Instead of free? I can't hear free, always heard/hear things.) Also, "I'm kinda older than I was when I rebelled/revelled/revealed without a care. So there." It may be rebelled, but there's a definite V sound there, yet that's not how you pronounce revelled, American or otherwise.
