  1. Hmmm seven BtD songs and none from UV. I wasn't expecting any Honeymoon but there are so many bangers they've cut. Looking forward to Venice Bitch live though.
  2. You can see the outline of the same hat the cult leader is wearing. That's not really a 'conspiracy' since it is actually real! Here's another non-conspiracy, it should really be the Ultraviolence video . . .
  3. Why do I keep checking this thread? Every time I load it I know that Lana hasn't actually given any news.
  4. loooooolllll GREAT CONTENT. I've unfollowed her. There is no difference between her account and the heap of basic bitches I have to follow to be keep up the veneer. At least I dont have to pretend to be interested in her boring content! I'll be back when the focus returns to music (probably?).
  5. I don't mind waiting for the album, but to have such a wacky reply from her managers and not a trace from Lana is so bizarre. It would be literally so easy to either say "The release date is scheduled for X" or "The album release date had been pushed back". Surely SOMEONE at her label, her managers, and Lana herself is at least basically aware that her fanbase want to know that??
  6. I can't stop listening to that clip of In Your Car! The piano is so lilting and the words are so nostalgic. Easily ther one im most excited for.
  7. I really wanted Lana to appear and sing "God Bless America" as one of the musical guests at the end of Twin Peaks The Return.
  8. There's ebb and flow with all my favourites. FATM used to be my favourite and I love them still but Lana has surpassed them - then High as Hope came out this year and I am listening to a ton of them again, probably more than Lana. Maybe something will come along in a couple of years and I will not listen to Lana everyday, but then she'll release something else and I'll be listening to her all over again. I'm finding Lana's my appreciation for albums change every few months. I'm finding myself liking L4L a lot more but also enjoying the instrumentals and lyrics of Honeymoon which is popping that back in rotation. And I'm forever finding new covers and unreleased material from Lana which is interesting me. I'll always enjoy her music! I'm not sure when I'll slow listening to it regularly though.
  9. CRUMBS m8 where do I even start. Brooklyn Baby - the sheer CHEEK of the line "Yeah, my boyfriends pretty cool / but he's not as cool as me"- I always have a little smile to myself after this. Terrance Loves You - "Ground control to Major Tom / can you hear me all night long?" Fine China - One the second verse where the strings layer and the bass is plucking, also the lines "I guess they really got the best of us, didn't they? / They said that love was enough but it wasn't" and also " . . . for our day in the sun / on the same day my mother to be said she wouldn't come" Fucking ALL of Fine China really though? Yayo - On AKA at around 4:00 she echoes her own "dark night" but it's this YELL in the background which is fucking sick "daaAAARRRRK NIIIIIIIIIIGHHHHTTTTTTTTTT!" My jaw dropped and I rewound it like 4 times. Florida Kilos - The bop of the chorus.</li> National Anthem - In the demo of this when she says"Um, do you think you'll buy me lots of diamonds" and then the man replies "Yes, of course I will my darling" Such a pimp!!! Love- The uplifting and ethereal line which makes me feel like I'm flying! "Young. And in loooOOOOOooOOO-AHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOVEEEE" Heroin - IT'S FUCKING HOT. HOT. Lolita - In the demo 4 on "want my cake and . . ." the bridge is terrifying in a sense that something impending is coming fast and there is so much spite, malice and faux playfulness in the delivery. This mix is the surfy rock one and it's also loud and chaotic. Hollywood -"I walk on water and I DANCE like JOPLIN" Could go on for a while.
  10. I assume How to Disappear will sound quite different on the album, but this performance is jaw-droppingly beautiful. I would be so down for an acoustic album with just a piano and string quartet at some point . . . fingers crossed that when Lana is a bit older she'll revisit the classics or tour with an orchestra.
  11. This! I just went back to LFL again after listening to some custom edits that chopped out the features and admittedly, I liked it a lot more than I remember. The thing that makes me zone out and not care is the collabs and bloody random rapping . . . I would prefer to have a deluxe or additional disk which is crammed full of remixes, duets and featured artists
