  1. What you are describing isn't possible on the Invision forum software. The only thing that might be of help is a browser extension that disables html commands, but that would greatly reduce the forums usability to you. Once you place someone on your ignore list, it's up to you to not engage and practise self control. If users are causing you grief you can report the posts or you could consider logging off.
  2. Please don't reply, tag me, quote or mention this post again after you've read this. It's just here as a PA. Let's get this back on topic and enjoy talking about Lana. - - - -- Hi all, We are aware that Lana's latest album has leaked, and tracks are circling off-site. We are monitoring these developments but at this point we need to refer people back to the original guidelines which were agreed to when users joined the site, notably these two: Anyone caught trading, or if any mod has their suspicion of a person trading, will have their PM access disabled as well as the ability to post status updates on the main page, and on the pages of other members. Posting or sending illegal download links to officially released content available for purchase or streaming whether a leak or post-release is strictly forbidden. Additionally, requesting links to such content is also not allowed. Violating these rules will result in a warning points, mod queues, and if especially ban and continuously breaking the rules, a ban. While we do permit users to discuss material before it's been released, lately there have been extremely malicious content mixed in and masquering as material for the album which is deliberately misleading and distressing to most users. You must understand that we cannot control what you chose to do off-site, but strongly recommend that you do not engage with any file you're not sure on the origin on. Certain posts have been refered to external bodies, and needless to say if any user is found in connection with these the penalty will be severe. Do not try to be clever - don't use words that rhyme in place of a website, don't refer to any offsite websites where leaks are being held, don't discuss the content outside of music from files offsite. These will all result in a warning point and mod queue until release day. I also want to remind you of two other things this moment: Please stay on topic. We will be liberally giving out warning points and mod queues for those breaking this rule in the Pre-Release thread, as we are needing to ensure all posts are conforming to our guidelines and standards. If it's too much, log off. It truly is that simple. Music is the most wonderful thing in the world but can really heighten emotions, and although you're excited to discuss and listen to new music, it's just as important to your mental health to log off, enjoy something in real life and take a break from here. Check-in with yourself and make sure you're ok. We look forward to celebrating the album with you on it's release, but please use common sense and make sure you're complying with the above because you're not going to find leniency as the default reply. Thanks, The Mod Team

  4. Good morning. I have temporarily locked this thread to clean up posts. Do not link, ask for links, or link people to any off-site sources that include files. We will be removing all references from posts and will be issuing warning points, mod queues and bans for violating these rules. Only discuss the album and the music in here. The thread will be open again shortly, please stay tuned. Sam
  5. Go FUCK yourself Chopin, Mozart, Liszt, you hacks!! Rob Grant is the REAL DEAL!!!!!!!
  6. Uhh so I guess anyone can just improvise at a piano for 25 minutes and have it released as a track huh.
  7. I FORGOT THIS WAS DROPPING AND I'M LISTENING NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. A lot of diversity in these tracks. The variety of instruments and style (especially Blood and Butter) reminds me of Imogen Heap. She's definitely my favourite artist at the moment.
  9. I just checked your profile and you're still eligible since that Warning Point was back in 2019. Get one in!
  10. Mine: Born to Die - Born to Die Ultraviolence - Ultraviolence Honeymoon - Honeymoon Lust for Life - Lust for Life Norman Fucking Rockwell - Norman Fucking Rockwell Chemtrails Over the Country Club - White Dress Blue Banisters - Blue Banisters
  11. Don't @ mods. Use the report function. It's located on the top right hand corner of every post. Before you post, think this: "Is this related to Lana del Rey's upcoming release?" and before you press 'Subit Reply' think this: "Is this related to Lana del Rey's upcoming release?" Post your bitchy replies, breakdowns and accusations in your statuses or in the RANDOM CONVERSATION THREAD. Or better yet, not at all. Also as an addition, don't quote and reply to this post moving forward. You can reply to this post in the RANDOM CONVERSATION thread! All you have to do is press 'Quote' and cut/copy the text over to the topic, and paste it in the reply. It will retain the original post formatting
  12. Good news, we are going to have trial shifts for moderators exclusively handling the Sky Ferreira thread! It's good practise for receiving hatemail, handling flame wars, and having to manage warning points, identity meltdowns, account fraud and general delusion. Don't miss your chance to apply!
  13. I'm looking forward to welcoming more people into the team. As a small provocation, if you are applying to be a mod you're going to have to do a lot of things people don't like and won't understand why you're doing them. You'll also need to take a stance on some things so if you don't think you can handle conflict potentially reflect on if you think the role will be right for you. Anyway let's get someone into the pre-release threads that can help Niko.
  14. I had to leave the reddit because it was such a huge circlejerk of awful opinions. This thread is brilliant.
  15. Just moving shit here that's about fighting as opposed to the random thread.
  16. Vote takeitdoen for Best Username, and I will retire the name. THAT is my election promise.
  17. Vote for me for Best Username, and I will retire it. THAT is my campaign promise.
  18. Thank you for a great change of attitude.
  19. Hello. I am now unlocking the thread as I know a lot of fans are very keen to keep this discussion thread open. Thanks for your patience. The users involved have been warned and spoken to by the admin. While discussion both positive and negative is welcome, I will be deleting any aggressive criticism. Please keep using the report function and message the admin or anyone on the mod team if you are concerned about user behaviour. I really want to stress again that there is no bias towards those breaking the rules, and I'm disheartened to hear so many people felt as though they were going to be punished for expressing their concerns. At the very least, please feel free at any point to come to me. Thank you. Sam
  20. Hi. Please stick to topic. Please don't tag members and beg for information or leaks. It's really disappointing to see unprovoked complaints or rants about other users - this is actually against our Guidelines. Take those complaints and stick them in a private message or elsewhere so it's not public. It's really frustrating to have a chorus of people constantly dragging you and when the only natural response is to fight back it just creates a bizarre environment for people who just want to dream about the album. Likewise, don't just come in here for the pure reason of lighting our excitable userbase on fire - I think everyone is aware how starved of information they are. There is no need to tag or bring up leakers, self-proclaimed or otherwise - you are welcome to discuss any rumours you hear but please don't tag specific users or complain about their lack of information in a certain era. They don't owe you anything, and users have been placed on mod queue in the past for doing this consistently. I am debating moving posts but will leave them up for the time being. Please drop this otherwise I will need to lock the topic temporarily and delete posts and issue warning points. Thank you, Sam
  21. Hi, no one is going to get banned for expressing concerns about bias. There isn't a secret conspiracy where 111 doesn't get warning points. I promise that is not the case. There are Guidelines and there are consequences for breaking them. Thank you for the users who used the report feature. I will lock this thread as I talk to other members of the mod team. Please do not let this spill over to other sections of the website. Thank you.
