Does anyone know why she keeps taking selfies in her car and out and about? It agitates me because usually she's only this active on instagram while working on a project or trying to promote her music. You guys think maybe she's getting ready for something soon? Especially considering that thing with the guy from MUSE. Or maybe Riverside will be out soon? (That's still fucking happening right?)
That's the only explanation I can think of for all her new selfies.
or maybe she only just realised how fucking hot she is and wants to flaunt her face whenever possible
 
But seriously if nothing happens soon I'll probably stop visiting this site for awhile. I just can't handle the wait. (I know I'm being dramatic and it hasn't been long since UV but don't tell me you're not dying inside too honey)

Anybody else notice that the Top 10 is entirely white and male? Or that there are only 15 women and 10 black people on the whole fucking list? Which is even worse than it sounds considering some people share their spot on the list with other people (i.e. there's more than 100 people and still only 15 women and 10 black people). 

Guess she was too busy to finish her songs with brian wilson and moroder but not busy enough to do irrelevant photoshoots

I don't want Auerbach returning just like I don't want Haynie returning. Either one would color the sound too much and it'd sound either like UV2 or BTD2. The one producer I'd like to return is Kahne because he was able to produce the widest variety of tracks. Unlike BTD and UV, none of the songs on AKA really sound like each other, but it's still a cohesive work. Unfortunately, I don't think that's ever gonna happen again.

Can we all stop throwing around stan/fan/real fan/fake fan accusations every time someone makes a point you don't agree with? Think people need to get off their high horses. What gives anyone the right to declare someone else's fan status for them? At the end of the day, we all signed up to this forum with a shared interest in either Lana or her music. Getting tired of the same self-righteous elite issuing fan labels to others on here. 
 
Me, well I might not know Lana's full back catalogue of music lyric for lyric or in chronological order of time, day and date of recording prior to Video Games but hey, I have bought her albums and paid to see her live. Oh yeah and that's right, the girl on the left in my avatar - it happens to be me, and I'm not a cartoon or a figment of someone's imagination, so yeah - perfectly 'real' fan over here!

You can tell me to clean my ears but my problem with UV was that all the songs sounded the same and their was too much lyric repetition ie
 
"Ultraviolence, ultravioleeeennncccee, ultraviolence, ultravioleeeennncccee"
"I'm pretty when I cry, I'm pretty when I cryyyyyyy, I'm pretty when I cry, I'm pretty when I cryyyyy"
"Is this happiness, is the happpiiinneess, is this happiness, is this happiiinnnesss"
 
There was much more variation with BTD and I'm not an overly huge fan of the acoustic grainy vocals on UV either.

Just a week or two ago I started re-visiting AKA and I can say it is her best album so far, imo. So much diversity on that album, none of her albums have offered us.It's a shame she is not re-relasing it or recreating these songs live, especially since she complains about playing the same songs over and over. She should be the last popstar to complain about lack of material. And just these days, here we go, she seems to show interest in her past look and all. So I hope that she slightly goes back to that direction in terms of style, songwriting and sound. Uptempo songs like Raise Me Up or Jump or Queen Of The Gas Station are perfect and suit her so well. 
 
I bet she will finish writing for this album before the tour starts and at this point, I highly doubt she will tour outside of North America. In the rest of the world she had a sales decline between 70-85 % anyway, so finishing this album and make a short tour seems to be the right thing to do.

Reevaluate your priorities, please!

Diagnosed with chronic, major depression. Severe. Just the melancholy nature of much of her music is always so familiar. Specifically those tones of longing and reflection. They just strike such a chord with me...

Lorde's song is boring, her vocals are so poor, i dont know why you all stan for that trash. Her album is much better than that movie song.

Big Eyes is the best thing she's done since BTD era...superior than anything on Ultra-neverhappen.

Composition, Vocals (Crystal Clear), Lyrics are on point. No disgusting radio reverb mess..no cliche over used LDR lyrics like on UV.

 



 

Yellow Filcker Flop is ew that's all I can say. The song is bad..The vocals are bad.. The lyrics are ok..the video is even worse. 

 

Borde will not win for that song. mark my words.
