  6. yeah ha, ill get back on topic, just posting my thoughts
  7. youd think after some stalker fan literally got inside her house if she saw the same exact person right next to her at a bunch of shows in different locations shed be a little paranoid. but instead she leans down and talks to him just to make all of us jealous
  8. gays when their fave announces a new song but they listen and realize they cant twerk to it
  9. back again because i listened to grey oceans in full for the first time and its fucking beautiful i always listen to artists work in chronological order, so so far ive only heard la maison -> noahs ark -> ghosthorse & stillborn -> coconuts -> and now grey oceans. and theyve literally gotten better with every album oh and coconuts, plenty of junk food is severely underrated
  10. if its gonna be released on march 29 (near april) i would love her to reveal the album cover in january, announce the full tracklist in early february, one single in late february and another in early march, then drop the album. i hope she doesnt make this release any more complicated than it needs to be
  11. my most listened to artist was bjork, my top artists were bjork, cocorosie, drake, grimes and lana del rey. i honestly didnt realize i listen to drake that much but i have been a fan of him longer than anyone else on that list lol. in total 42,053 minutes of listening this year
  12. "but i love that man like nobody can, he moves mountains and turns them to ground again" idk ive had how to disappear on repeat all night and this line just speaks to me
  13. i wish she would at least complete the record before announcing when it will be released, i feel like march 29th is gonna be another may 26th situation
  14. i am SO excited for hey blue baby & stupid for being so happy. they are such little pleasant country anthems
  15. read a post on this artists tumblr that i check up on that said, i quote, "Not to be sexist I just highly doubt Lana Del Rey lived in a trailer park djdkd her dad is a literal millionaire and i bet she just said that to build her image." i sent them the video of the 2008 lizzy grant interview, of her walking around the park... they replied back "ok so? i legit dont care." if you... dont... care....... why did you make the post... you were obviously bothered when youre wrong youre just wrong, thats how it is tumblr is wild sometimes. (all the time)
  16. i would prefer lana didnt make any music regarding azealia, for someone as famous and professional as lana to care about someone tiny and insignificant like her... shes just higher than that lol
  17. i dont hate lfl. i do find it to be a weak point in her discography, but even then i find born to die (in terms of sound + lyrics) to be even weaker and much less mature. what breaks my heart about the lfl era is how lana couldnt come up with one specific theme for the album... and concept albums are like, her thing. but the theme for lfl was all over the place and i believe thats what made her add last-minute reckless collabs and production changes to songs, making lfl sound the way it did i constantly sit and wonder what the original lfl was supposed to be. was it supposed to be 60s/70s woodstock and nature themed with daisies and flower crowns? was it supposed to be futuristic with space & technology themes like in the love music video? was it supposed to be witchy and reference wicca, hence the "spell" pictures, lfl album trailer where shes a witch, and a collab with stevie nicks? was it supposed to be a melodramatic & attitude-filled transition to more modern hip-hop and traps beats to reflect current pop culture? was it supposed to be patriotic, hence god bless america, and old-fashioned with acoustics guitars and mustangs? like... what was lust for life intended to be ?? either we will never know, or lana held onto the concepts and saved them for a future record that could potentially be norman fucking rockwell (basically what im saying is she had 5 or 6 wonderful album concepts and then tried to smash them all together and ended up making lfl more of a disappointing mess than it should have been)

  19. currently trying to get into her cause my crush has been a fan of hers since like 2014. is there any unreleased work i should know about? (im listening to her discography in order from the start)
  20. four leaf clover

    Grimes

finally see a fan who agrees, lol. her work during halfaxa + visions was her peak in my opinion, not that art angels was terrible or anything, but i do miss her old sound a lot
  21. four leaf clover

    Grimes

4aem sounds like something off a 2009 bandcamp breakcore album which actually is a sound i dig
