I have an entire album. It's called Never Let Me Go with NLMG, JFK, Starry Eyed, AFFA, On Our Way, Black Beauty, and I Don't Wanna Go (Tonight) and those songs are usually what I go to when I get really depressed and they kill me each time. From BTD, I'd say Carmen or Video Games... <3 I also find Television Heaven kind of sad, her saying "I hope you remember me like this" is just rdctfvygbhun yeah... lol Oh, and Damn You (American Dream) and Tired of Singing The Blues vygbhunj And I think maybe There's Nothing To Be Sorry About? Idk. Every Man Gets His Wish... <3

Hell, it could've been a friend of hers, it could just be the pop star thing, it could be anything, but that's one thing I love about Lana. For me, each song weaves into all of the other ones. Everything seems like they have about 2-3 different stories she wants to tell, but she tells them in different songs and you have to think about it and put them together. I'm just thinking randomly at this point lol

Woah. The way you explained it and shit with actual quotes, you looked into this, huh? I mean, damn. I find Lana as someone who has these parts of her life that she keeps secret but she may have written about in her songs and named them other things (Lizzie Grant, Lana Del Rey, May Jailer, possibly Carmen (What would be Carmen's last name...? o.o ), and Sparkle Jump Rope Queen) and that way, she could live this other life as a star named Lana Del Rey, someone she conjured up from inside and brought to life. Jimmy is who I think gave her the name, though I'm not completely certain. If I remember right, she sings about Jimmy having the Chevy. So maybe it's other people giving her these ideas for her names. Then again, the theory that Carmen is the typical pop star comes in mind. Oh, and what's up with the red dress? Does she like it for some particular reason or something...?

1) If she lived in Pensacola, FL (I'm from there and it'd be cool if she's lived there at one time in her life. She sang about it in Aviation)? 2) If she would ever think of re-recording an old song or some leaked songs for the fans someday. 3) Does she ever wish she would have gone another way with Born To Die than she has (and maybe Ultraviolence)? 4) What she would be doing right now if her music career never made it, since she's in her late 20's. 5) Does she ever want to change her sound drastically or bit by bit?

Well, in the music video for Ride, it did show her wearing a red dress with her lipstick on. She says in Carmen, "put your red dress on, put your lipstick on." I'm not sure if these are actually related or connected, which is one thing I'd love to ask her. I mean, when I meet her and when I go to one of the really small fan meet-ups that she has enough time to answer questions, then I'm going to ask her if some of Born To Die was based on her past. But what I'd like to know is... Do you guys think that any other songs, released or leaked, that is related to the same persona of Carmen, whether it was a made up thing or a past name she went by?

I was just listening to Carmen and then I listened to Ride and after paying attention to the Intro/Outro to Ride, she mentions that she believes in the kindness of strangers. I don't know, it's just an idea, but does anyone think that either of these songs could be possibly related or maybe she's "Carmen." Not sure, just a small idea/theory. Any thoughts would be good. (I'm being serious, so please, no bs comments about how ridiculous this sounds.)

Did anyone else notice at the very end, like last 5 or 10 seconds, she whispers "Oh, I got it" or "Oh my god"? EDIT: Just saw other posts about it.

Ellie, Lana, Florence, La Roux (They've been in album development hell for like, 3 years now, though...), I've even heard rumours about Lorde releasing new shit towards the end of the year... <333 I listened to her back in... late 2011 I think or early 2012 and I never got Halcyon and then in February of 2013, my mom got me a couple iTunes cards and I got the deluxe edition of Halcyon, and then last Monday, my mom picked up Halcyon Days from Best Buy soooo I need more Ellie lol (Although I didn't like Lights, the LP... )

My favorite is her version of Tessellate and You My Everything is really good, too. I'm just waiting for this summer for the next album to drop... Supposedly coming this summer...

I'm looking for people to be serious like this person ^^ If you wanna point out that it's wishful thinking twenty times, then you don't have to post. We get it. I'm saying, what if she were to do this after 10 or 15 years after BTD, when her music isn't as relevant as it is today.

She could have it released under her past stage names. That'd be pretty dope. I mean, it'd be nice since most of us like to hear the leaks. Hell, I listen to the leaks more than I do BTD.

This is exactly what I think, too. I heard her song 'Aviation' and she mentions Pensacola, which is the city I live in and grew up in, so I wonder if she moved here briefly, found a "daddy" and he took her to Los Vegas, then to Cali. That's one of the questions I have for her. I've sat down and listened to every leak to find out who owned the Blue Chevy Nova, which from my understanding was Jimmy Gnecco (Jimmy pulled up in his blue Chevy Nova). I wanna know who went to prison, holding his pillow tight. I wanna know so much about her past that we'll never really know. I mean, what the hell is the WillyB Crew? That's why I'd love to hear her re-record the songs, just for the fans and not just to gain random people primarily like most albums try to do. I mean, as her true fans, we wanna know everything we can about her. Who gives two flying fucks what the critics say? Her fan base is huge, but at the same time, it's not radio-big enough. The only songs I heard of hers on the radio was SS which wasn't even the original, it was a remix, and Y/B. Anyway, point is, I think it would be a cool thing for her to do as a ten-year thank you to all her fans. Something to tell us she appreciates us.

What if after the Ultraviolence era, she decides to release all the leaked songs as a whole collection with the best quality, and then on a separate album, release a re-recorded version of all the leaked songs? How would you react? Which one would you buy and why? My response: I personally would buy them both to have them all in my music collection. I wouldn't be surprised if she did do this, though. She said that she was disappointed with all of the leaks that have been happening, so perhaps she was planning on using the leaked songs in the future? I don't know, I just wanted to throw this idea out there...

If her label lets her, she can release it whenever she wants. It just depends on how the label is. Epic Records is awful with release dates, which is why most of their artists have failed- Avril Lavigne, Ciara, Cher Lloyd (I think)... It's just up to the label company.

Can we SOMEWHAT just keep it positive that we've begun to get more info and a time period that it should be released around? Either way she DID say "I think so... I think so..." PLEASE stop complaining about her past shit. The past was the past and she thought she was ready ahead of time. She's finished this album so she's not going to go back and screw around with it. She said she likes it the way it is, so why would she fuck up what made her forget about the last record? I think it's stupid for everyone to give two shits about what she's said in the past and not going through with... Let her get ready as she needs to and as time goes by, we'll have the record. She said when she'll like to have it out, but we're not sure if it's definite. She might not be sure, but she probably wants it out by then. I think I've made my case clear ^_^
