I'm very glad you mention it too because I thought of it the first two seconds I heard the snippet. I'm having so much expectations about the MV. With the gun, the tone of the lyrics, the cover, the gangsta feeling of the beat, and the idea of revenge, and especially the fact that he's in the sand in the end like buried, I can't stop thinking that she might actually kill him or something. I would pass out tbh, the idea of Lana breaking stereotypes of being soft and passive depressive to actually take action and reclaim herself is sending enormous chills down my spine. Here for her being a bamf milf 

It makes sense she included Serial Killer at Endless Summer setlist. HBTB has a very similar vibe, doesn't?
 
Also after her last IG photo I think that Rihanna picture wasn't so random, maybe she is actually releasing a gangster bitch video this time

Bow down bitches before the most versatile female artist ever. She did rock (surf, psihedelic), soft grunge, jazz, blues, trip hop, pop, hip hop, trap, folk and against her will EDM. (I'm sure that I forgot some and I didn't mentioned her made up genres).
 
She surprised me again with a new sound (I'm not talking about HM) because HBTB is not like anything on BTD or UV

I swear I didn't think we were ever going to get a single like. It's very pop and it could easily be one of the unreleased material. It is her best song? Not really, but it's catchy as fuck. Enjoy it a sassy Lana, guys. Stop overthinking and put your headphones on and let's just dance to that simple but good vibes beat. She deserves a break from her sadness

it's just such a clever song and i love it.

just listened, it's a hot track. different to what she's done before but still recognizably her - a mix of West Coast, Florida Kilos and a touch of some BtD demos; a gorgeous middle ground between Born to Die and Ultraviolence that's clearly also very 2015. the ending is fabulous with the spoken outro.
 
i love it and I'm glad to hear her lyrics are kinda moving away now from her stereotypical phrases (except the chorus). still, it's catchy af and I can imagine it doing rather well in the radio. 1000x better than the stale mess of Honeymoon.

i get why some people think the production comes off as somewhat amateurish, but i actually view it is a step towards a more commercial sound. not that that's a bad thing by any means, this single just seems so much more primed to be a single than any other single in recent memory.

Was so not prepared for this... omfg. So impressed. Love the lyrics, they're so snarky Lana which is what I live for. Always nice to hear her standing up for herself in songs. I was NOT expecting a full on electronic song which is throwing me in such a loop on how HM will sound as an album. This songs almost sounds experimental in ways. And the AKA lyrical reference! When Lana reminds me why she's my top fave, she hits hard.
