I love Hotel so far. I mean it's no Murder House or Asylum, but it's much better than freak show. Though I think the show lost it's whole horror feel in season two, it feels more like a comedy/suspense show now. Gaga was pretty good. I hate Lana's Nina covers. The original TOW and DLMBM are so beautiful, you can hear the pain in Nina's voice and she's perfection on the low notes. But with Lana well... you don't really feel anything! There's no soul to it. I know that sounds harsh but idk from Lana's vocals on the tracks it seems as thought she doesn't feel much regarding the feelings in the lyrics/vocal melody. It's nice to listen to I guess but I'd prefer if Lana sang songs that complemented her voice. Like maybe an Amy Winehouse cover (actually idk) or a peggy lee cover. But no nina my dear lana

Honeymoon is so beautiful, but Ultraviolence is so different from everything else. While I love all the strong beats & beautiful melodies of HM, I A D O R E the soul, sadness and emotions of UV. They're very different though. I mean HM is the album I'd choose to listen to at home on basstasic speakers, but UV is the album I'd choose if I were going on a walk/road trip. All in all, UV is my fave.

I've also found that many art projects have never seen the light of day. In making this thread, I wanted to bring the music back to LB. Not only songwriting, but all things music related.
