I remember Lana said she wasn't fond of bonus tracks, but like Leaked said, it's a business move. I much prefer a standard track list without the forced bonus tracks. Yes, it's always nice to have extra music, but we have hundreds of unreleased tracks already.

I hope Interscope puts the album up for pre-order a few months ahead of time instead of a few weeks like with UV. -_-

Well, what he's saying is right. I think it was directed more at her critics than to naive fans, though.

But she said she brought all ten tracks to Ronson in an earlier interview. There's really no way to know for sure just yet. And I still you guys are taking that "similar to BTD" comment far too seriously. She could have just meant that it's different from UV because it isn't as dark thematically.

Agreed. His writing is good, but his production almost always kills the atmosphere of songs for me. Nowels, however, is incredibly gifted and really brings Lana's words to life.

Lana seems to prefer working with a main producer for each LP to ensure cohesiveness. Kahne, Haynie, Auerbach. It seems like she'll have Ronson produce the majority of Honeymoon tracks unless he does not agree to.

I thought he already produced a handful of tracks since Lana said the production was "perfect," but different from his usual style.

I keep imagining Lana in her usual cover pose, but smiling and on a sunny beach. Hibiscus flowers on the disc. <3

Lana does the high wails very well on many occasions, particularly the best performances of MDM in New Orleans and in Paris when she sounds like a genuine jazz singer. I love the ones that sound like the end of the Off to the Races or Cola as well...she does that quite frequently.

Haynie put the song on YouTube/VEVO as "Wait For Life (Audio)" It's been far too long since we've gotten a new Lana music video.

It is amazing how quickly time passes! Part of me was afraid she might go the Rihanna route and just bang out a bunch of albums to fulfill contract requirements, but I honestly just think she's very inspired. She was always making music in her early 20s and only went two years between albums because she had to. And legendary artists in the late 60s commonly released albums each year...sometimes two per year. The Beatles, Mamas and the Papas, Bob Dylan, Dusty Springfield, Lou Reed. etc, etc. I'm sure many of the reviews will say she's rushing albums, though. Oh, well. The most important thing is that she's happy, inspired, and creating her art in the way that she wants.

I wonder if the lead single will premiere at the Governor's Ball a la WC at Coachella. Might be too far ahead, depending on the finalized release date. If so, I would get to see her perform it a couple of days later.
