You think so? She seems pretty proud and happy about the LOVE songs, but you could be right.

Superstar is not a bad song, it just needed extra instrumentations, like a Shehnai [indian flute] (like that sax on Art Deco that adds more feeling to the song) in the chorus, wouldve been awesome. 

To be Human gave me EH teas and omg I love her signature on all of her songs. She has the greatest melodies + lyrics I Iove this woman

i agree - she's literally doing what she does every album.
 
L+F doesn't sound like anything she's done. Electra doesn't sound like TFJ. FROOT doesn't sound like Electra or TFJ. L+F doesn't sound like FROOT, Electra, or TFJ. It's a pattern lol.
 
Her new music isn't even bad - it's like radio hits but actual work and thought have been put into them.

But her new music is neither bad. It's actually very good. She's been serving fine bops, with good music videos.

i think people are just being overly dramatic little gays and should probably just enjoy the fact that Marina's putting out new music and didn't decide to totally pack in her career to help the same little whiney gays with their emotional issues through her psychology degree from a poorly ranked university.

No, it's not enough imo. We're getting 16 songs in total, 8 of them are under Fear which are probably gonna be very different to the ones under LOVE. I agree singles are a representation of an album but sometimes artists choose the wrong songs for singles or the most radio friendly ones so who knows if we end up liking the other songs more than the singles.  
Worst case scenario, love ends up being a flop and Fear ends up being the superior album. But we can't know until it's released.

Let's wait for the other songs in LOVE and FEAR. We've only heard 4 songs.

You're giving it too much thought. She changed her name 'cause she wanted a name that represents the way she is and the way she thinks now. It's her way of saying "I'm not like I used to be. I changed, I've grown, this is who I am now". That doesn't mean the stuff she made before was fake lmao. What you're saying doesn't even make any sense at all.

I think she loves this song so much because she has the personal connection to the Greek island she's singing about. Unfortunately for her, fans just don't really have that perspective, so we have to relate to the ideas of positivity, happiness, and love (which, some of y'all bouta be real mad at me, you depressive folk can't relate to) and those are far more bland topics than what we're use to her writing about. The production of EH was of equal quality; Marina was just writing from a more unique perspective we don't hear in pop. Truly think that Fear will be the more praised side of the album, at least lyrically. 

I like Orange Trees! I’m not totally completely blown away by anything from this record so far but i’m no less excited about it. I’m sure I’ll love it in the end. Is Baby anyone else’s favorite still?

I finally like superstar, orange trees has grown on me and I like it now.

Upon relistening, I like it a lot more (chorus is amazing), and she is SERVING visuals this era!

I mean it's local bop but i dig it. Better than Superstar but HH and Baby are untouched for me rn (which is sad, I wanna be amazed by something she puts out soon cause that hasn't happened yet)

I can understand the Superstar hate, but Orange Trees? She’s gorgeous

It must suck to be deaf. This is one of her best songs, spring just hasn't started for you so you can't feel this song in the warm weather.
Marina said there will be no more spring only summer, It's crazy!
