I actually like how the lyrics of Happiness Is A Butterfly seem almost stream of consciousness. The stream of consciousness style was used by Sylvia Plath among other people so in my opinion it would make sense if that was Lana's intention.

I know Lana usually doesn't care about commercial success, but do you think the MGK could be for a single/radio remix of one of her songs? I've noticed a lot of artists add rappers to songs once they release them as singles in order for them to do better on the charts. I've always thought it seemed like an embarrassingly desperate thing to do but, honestly, It would still be better than having a MGK collaboration on the album.

This sounds like utter trash. Why on earth would she work with someone as talentless as MGK. He's literally a joke in the hip hop community. Sometimes i really question her taste as well as her judgment. I just pray that this song isn't on NFR.

I'm really scared that Happiness is a Butterfly is an indication of what the album will sound like. It just sounds so boring, forced, overly cheesy and cloying, but I guess it fits the whole self-change theme she's apparently going for. Can someone please lock Lana in a studio with Jonathan Wilson, a bottle of whiskey (I'm just kidding, I don't actually want Lana to start drinking again) and an Anne Sexton poetry collection?

I met Sky a few days ago I went to a Marching Church concert (her boyfriends band) and suddenly I realized I was standing right next to her. Listening to this album in full is just so satisfying everything flows so well Also - and I know this is an unpopular opinion - but even though Coachella is one of my least favorite songs on the album the ending might be my favorite moment on the whole album it just sounds SO good!
