Royals is more generic than anything on Melodrama but okay

If we got a track list and a preorder I wouldn't mind waiting until July 21. I'm just really tired of speculating which songs will be on the album and wich songs will be outtakes and I'm tired of fearing that the album might be delayed once again.

The Shangri-Las influence is very obvious in the verses of Lust For Life tho. And I'm sure the Joan Baez influence will be obvious as well as soon as we hear the acoustic songs on the album... at least I hope so.

Tbh the whole concept of someone being obsessed with writing really lustful erotic fiction but not being able to translate any of those fantasies into action in a relationship is actually not a bad concept for a song.

This is an amazing album. One of the best pop albums of the decade and much better than Pure Heroine. My favorites are The Louvre, Sober II (Melodrama) and Writer In The Dark. Am I the only one who thinks that the harmonies in the chorus of Writer In The Dark sounds a lot like Kate Bush?

Omg Sun had a collab with Iggy Pop. Lust For Life stole the title of one of his most iconic albums. mind = blown.

I hope we'll get the preorder this friday with Cherry as an instant track. Then Daisy Chains on June 30, White Mustang on July 14 and the full album on the 21st. One can dream.

I don't know how I feel about this one. The lyrics are obviously beautiful but I think the melody sounds kind of off.

If White Mustang didn't make the album I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I really doubt she would tease all the songs that didn't make the album. She knows how her fans would react.

Maybe they're just friends. Or maybe she's doing a song with him for his album. Or maybe she's producing/writing, who knows, but I really really doubt that they're doing a full collab album together.

Omg at first I didn't like Need You at all, I thought it was a boring and overly autotuned mess, but omfg it has grown on me so much, it's definitely in my top 5 Allie X songs at this point it's so amazing.
