Those lyrics seem kind of strange but I'd much rather have really really weird lyrics than those bland lyrics of LFL.

I think it would kind of make sense if the album was released digitally on the 26th and then physically later on. I could imagine that her team would do this to prevent leaks since the origin of a leak is almost always a physical copy. However, I don't think that would be a very good move commercially since Lana seems to be one of the few artists where an appreciable amount of album sales actually are physical albums (I might be wrong tho).

I can't at some of you actually judging an album based on the track titles. And really weird thought, but think it would be really cool if "The Louvre" referenced the iconic scene in Godard's 'Bande à part' where the characters try to break the record for being the fastest to run through the museum.

what the fuck why the hell would she release the lead single in february, put up billboards and say that the album is coming soon when it's coming in July I swear if she delayed the album so that she could add that awful Coachella song to the tracklist I will track her down and hit her.

I wish the lyric was "John and Yoko" Instead of "Lennon and Yoko" because technically Yoko's last name is Lennon as well. I know it's a weird thing to care about, but it just bothers me. I'm extremely excited for the song tho.

After listening to the HQ I might have exaggerated how bad it is. The chorus is catchy and the outro sounds really good. I just wish the drums sounded less harsh and that some of the lines weren't so awkward. I can't help but cringe at "critics can be so mean sometimes" and "all their children's children" and I think that the whole message, while sweet, is a bit patronizing. All in all it's an average song and I don't think it's the worst she's ever released, but I can't help being worried for the quality of the rest of the album, if this song is really one of the most single worthy songs on it. I also have a hard time seeing how the album will be cohesive with all of the released songs sounding totally different from one another. I guess only time will tell and I hope I'll be pleasantly surprised. I haven't completely lost faith in Lana.

I can't believe Lana would namedrop Joan Baez as an inspiration for the album and then come up with these lyrics. And i can't believe she would namedrop The Shangri-Las and then release a song with production that sounds this cheap.

i can't believe Lana would destroy her legacy like this. At this point she should just retire.

I will just pretend this song doesn't exist. I will never listen to it again, delete it from my iTunes library and not buy the physical version of the album.

I'm literally shocked, I'm on the verge of crying. I can't believe Lana would release something this terrible. Someone must be able to do something, this is a tragedy. Has she totally lost it??? I'm having an anne-meltdown but for all the wrong reasons. There's literally nothing redeeming about this song.
