Dark Paradise is in my opinion Lana's worst released song with some of the most embarrassingly terrible lyrics she's ever written. Lolita is a good song but the production on the album is a disaster. I love the demo and the 2016 live version, tho.

I've only listened to Front Row Seat to the earth but it's really really good, will definitely listen to the rest of her stuff.

She's ended every concert with it since The Endless Summer tour.

THIS!!!!

This is the best song she's ever written and I will forever hate her for not putting it on an album.
-
Oh lmao, sorry

But wasn't she totally unknown when she gave that interview? Being in that position I think it would be really stupid to deny someone an interview for political reasons, especially since she's not a very politically engaged person...

I actually agree with this 100%

I literally screamed when I saw the photo with Joan. Two of my absolute favorite musicians. I'm so happy! And Joan is slaying with the 'nasty woman' t-shirt!

Is This Happiness, Pretty When You Cry, Old Money, Terrence Loves You and You're Gonna Love Me always gets me.

I love Sylvia Plath! Her poetry is amazing. There's especially one poem that I really love, but I've forgotten what it's called. I'll try to remember it. The Bell Jar is also an amazing novel!

I knew there was a reason why I've always liked you

Mexico City, MX @ Corona Capital Festival - November 20th, 2016
GodBlessMe replied to PARADIXO's topic in 2016 Festival Tour
Tbh I'd be fine with that. Watch her sing more songs from BTD in those extra 15 minutes. -
Omg I'm just picturing Lana listening to Joan Baez
-
That would be amazing! And I think so too, she's talked about loving Lou Reed.

Thank you <3

I agree! It's very Velvet Underground, it kind of reminds me of I Heard Her Call My Name or White Light White Heat. Cruel World reminds me of Velvet Underground as well, It sounds a bit like Heroin or All Tomorrows Parties. The drumming sounds a lot like Maureen Tucker!
