If she's really not releasing it till May 18th then that is the stupidest move her team could've made. What was the point in hyping people up a month earlier than release? Other than fans, no-one is going to bother buying a single a month later. It should be on iTunes right now, while it's still fresh in people's minds. So much for a May release of the album.

When you take "you got the music in you" in context it's quite gorgeous. As I said in the lyric thread, she is referencing her sobriety and people saying she's not having fun unless she's drinking but she has found "the music" in this guy that has made her feel alive again. Then she talks about people in the West Coast having their shallow, Hollywood icons (Queen of Saigon reference), but her guy simply has "the music." It's stunning.

Even after an hour of listening, I am still loving it. I feel sorry those that don't like it tbqh cos I think it's a brilliant song. I think the verses and chorus go really well together, kinda like the verses are the high, and the chorus is the comedown. It makes me really really excited for the album.

I hate to say it but from the teaser, I don't like the look of the video. Maybe because I'm  unfairly comparing it to National Anthem, Ride and Tropico but it kinda feels like shes trying to sell me that leather jacket. Too much like a GAP advert or something.

I realise that now, I kinda just stopped it in the middle, but a teaser is mean to hype, and this isn't hyping me tbh.

Someone needs to write some lyrics, cos some parts I cannot understand sh!t. It's currently on repeat, I love it. I'm in love.

I was walking to the SECC but I was walking along train tracks for whatever reason and Lana pulls up with Jaime in a red Cadillac and we talk for a little bit and then she hands me a flower and drives off while I run alongside the car crying "Don't leave me, please."
