Petition for Lana to change the album title to Rorman Fucking Nockwell in honor of @RormanNockwell

i have a simple solution to the cover dilemma, which just so happens to be an artistic choice i've been pulling for all along anyway

System of a Down had an album called "Steal This Album!", which was still displayed in record stores. I don't think NFR would cause any kind of major fuss, after all, they can just bleep out the 'fucking' part on the cover. No biggie. It's 2019, why would record labels let the NFR title pass in the first place if they knew it would cause problems?

I had some idea about why she is not talking about the release / sharing any sort of info.
She is signed with Interscope records just like Selena Gomez, who is in the same situation: she was "working"  on her upcoming album for 4 years now, apparently even 2 years ago it was ready for release but it never came out. (she had some health problems but she is over those now) When asked about the album Selena always says it's coming "soon" and that she is simply not allowed to reveal more information. Once she did a livestream for fans in her car where she accidentally revealed a new song title ("Rare") and then immediately after she said it she was like: aw, I wasn't supposed to say that I will get in trouble. So basically the higher ups at the label restrict how much information she can reveal and since she and Lana are at the same record label, they might be in the same position.

Being a cultist is the worse thing any fan can do for an artist, being an all-praising, never-critical worshipper, as if the artist were a god and above imperfection, mistake or error. I have seen this behavior in cults of R.E.M., Tori Amos, Hozier, Bob Dylan, 21 Pilots, Amy Winehouse, Jeff Buckley, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Father John Misty and the Clash among others, and filmmakers like Wes Anderson and Woody Allen.
 
Sometimes a great artist will release one bad album or film after another, and her or his adoring fans will remain silent at best or praise the bad work regardless, instead of saying, “Wow, your new album is really poor, as I see it, for the following reasons...”
 
You don’t have to be mindlessly rude, but you should state your truth if you feel like doing so. I have recently done this on FB with Rayland Baxter, the Cactus Blossoms and Great Peacock, all of whom I follow and who released lousy records over the year or so.
 
Certainly LDR has her cultists. You can be an LDR Stan without being a cultist, insisting that you yourself and everyone else love every LDR song, poem and photo.
 
Maintaining some distance and objectivity is ALWAYS good. It helps you see clearly and without blind emotion.

anyway i know any effort into some sort of curated aesthetic is impossible now but it’s nice to dream

Know i'm not speaking for everyone, but I actually kinda like how WM sounds lazy and slow if that makes sense, tempo's real similar to Art Deco, and the warped drones make it kinky? Which compared to the warm steely clean production, highlights the less than clean, subtle crude lyrics. Kinda like how I know IMF has some heat to it, but isn't really a flash fire, but more of like tea kettle steam 
 
I hope Cinnamon follows suit w the eerie schmexy, horror vibes to help carry the song thru. Shrills and ad libs here and there similar to the note she sings in Burning Desire, bc we need Cinnamon to b like Salma Hayek From^2 dusk til dawn that we all know she's got the capacity to be
