    New US Tour!

And what if I don't have a smart phone that can run apps? Is there going to be a way I can do the presale from my computer?

    New US Tour!

Wait, I'm confused... so when are the pre-sales? When I look it up on ticketmaster.com is says the pre-sale for Chicago starts on March 13 at 10 am. But is that central time (where Chicago is) or eastern time (where I'm accessing the page from)? And I can't find the Detroit show there. When does that pre-sale start?

    New US Tour!

Every man evilentity gets his wish. Right, 'cause it's not like she hasn't played NYC 4X before post-fame and there aren't any east coast shows on this tour less than 2 hours distance away from New York... wtf.
  4. The possible connection between COTBR and the T-Rex song "Children of the Revolution" makes me inclined to say it probably is Bolan: Side note: I still can't hear "T-Rex" without automatically thinking of this ridiculous song: https://soundcloud.com/charli-xcx-fan/charli-xcx-dinosaur-sex
  5. I'm not 100% sure what she sings there, but I don't think it's "Billy". It isn't.
  6. I might have missed something, but I listened to the interview and I think this is as close as it comes to confirming Rick's been working on UV, but it doesn't quite say so:
  7. I'm working backwards through the three parts of this interview (currently on part two) and so far I haven't heard anything explicitly saying Rick's working on Ultraviolence or the album she's currently working on, just something to the effect that he's been working on a lot of stuff with her lately. Whether he's working on UV or not, it's encouraging to know the leaks didn't totally kill their songwriting relationship. If anyone catches where he says anything more definitive please post which part and at what time he says it.
  8. According to this early blog post it was also available for purchase on Napster. Also, I think I remember people on LDR.FM discussing it having been available on some French site, or am I thinking of something else?
  9. Look at Rob trying to cash in on his daughter's notoriety: http://www.whois.com/whois/lanadelreylips.com It redirects to Lana's official website.
  10. I can't help but disagree. She has a really interesting timbre in her upper register and lower register. It's the mix of both that's so alluring to me.
  11. "Put your lips together and blow" inb4 someone makes a queefing joke
  12. Mm, not too sure about this. I also can't tell whether it's "Travel on the train" or "12:01 the train". I definitely don't hear "on the best of hour". I hear "I'm the best of all" or "on/at the festival". I also don't hear "bag" of anything. Phonetically it sounds something like "at the parren-thall" or "at the barren-thall" but I don't know what. Also, isn't it "live like you're rich" and are you sure it's "I fill it up"? Also sounds like it could be "I feel it up". Beat me to the punch.
  13. I don't think there's any references to the novel Lolita specifically, but off the top of my head, she calls her lover "daddy" in "Pretty Baby" and "Next to Me" and "My Momma" definitely suggest relationships with much older men (and I sort of get that sense from a couple other songs even though there's nothing lyrically that specifically indicates that).
  14. Could it be "silk la roux" or something like that?
  15. I'm not really taking issue with the speculation itself. People saying what they hope or think the album will be like is fine (although 74 pages on so little information does seem a bit excessive to me). No, I'm mostly taking issue with people presenting their speculations or opinions as fact and calling people who don't accept their "facts" stupid.
  16. Um, there's been essentially fuck all for information so far, so unless anyone here is involved in the production or works for the label, nobody really knows shit about how the album will sound, what songs will be on it, which producers were involved to what extent, the recording process, it's production, marketing, or the label's expectations, so don't act like you know. 74 pages of speculation and people getting pissy and arguing their speculation is fact based on such scant information. Ridiculous.
  17. Dan Auerbach and I #DatGrammar inb4 @@Monicker makes a cuckolding reference. Hmm, I guess I don't have to hurry, do I? Edit: Barrie just posted his cover of Nirvana's cover of "In the Pines" which contains the line: "My girl, my girl, don't lie to me, tell me where did you sleep last night?" Birthday tribute to Kurt Cobain or coded message? One can only hope.
  18. So Wikipedians won't allow Lana's real birth year to be corrected even though there's sources, but they'll allow these titles to be listed as Ultraviolence tracks without any sourcing? Someone please correct this. I can't be bothered. Also, that whole "Intended album" column needs to die a fiery painful death. There's virtually zero evidence to say almost any of those tracks were "intended" for any of her major label albums. People stating this as fact is really one of my pet peeves with this fanbase.
  19. #SerialKiller #UltraViolence
  20. I made a mild joke referencing your Putin-loving and his dashed hopes for Russian gold in hockey and made fair criticisms of Russia in a discussion in which I noted that I consider Obama a murderer of his own citizens. I'm not attacking or bashing either you or Russia. You're being over-sensitive.
