  1. Was there tea about song lengths I missed somewhere? I keep reading it was mentioned there are longer songs on the album but I can't find any earlier info, any Venice Bitch-esque epics?
  2. CDs can hold up to 80 minutes, so if it's just below that, it should still be fine. I'd be more worried about vinyl, although it seems each side can hold 23 minutes, so ~92 minutes max for a 2 LP.
  3. I was thinking "When's it gonna be my turn?" has a double meaning... 1) When's it going to be her turn to be loved unconditionally, and 2) When's it going to be her turn to be forgotten and sealed like the tunnel under Ocean Blvd. ("Open me up, tell me you like me, fuck me to death, love me until I love myself" following and is applicable to both.)
  4. 100% agreed. I get the same vibe from songs like Chemtrails, Blue Banisters, White Dress... And it's still on display here.

Yeah, I kinda knew I would struggle getting through this album when she made I Hate U track 21. That song would have been a skip if it were Track 3, but you want me to sit through that song after I'm already *20* tracks deep?
  6. That would be amazing. I can't get over the standard cover, it's my favorite. The black vinyl actually works with it because it fits the cover so well, but I'd actually love a yellow with that cover.
  7. It cracks me up that Lana fans get mad when... Lana's always going to do exactly what she wants. If you don't like it, that's cool. But she's doing what she wants. Why even be mad? You have no choice. And I'm always down to go wherever she takes us. Did some of her choices on BB make sense to me? Not at all. But it's still a good album because it's a Lana album, and it's her vision. Why not just enjoy the ride? We've heard 1 song from a 16 track album.
  8. The fact that some "Lana fans" don't feel or even connect to the potent emotion and longing in this song today is just ... unfortunate. No one can ruin this era for me. I have such an incredible feeling about this album. Can't even explain it. I'm buzzing.
  9. Wow. The lyrics are sadder/more complex than I thought. Comparing herself to the lost tunnel, feeling like she's stuck in a cycle of being used and forgotten, how she deeply desires true love, and wants to be seen, but feels like no one wants to get to know the real her, how perhaps her relationships have meant more to her than her partners. There's so much emotion in this song, and don't even get me started on "Don't forget me..." repeated throughout. My heart.
  10. I hope we get some really long tracks this era. I need some 6+ minute epics from our girl.
  11. What would you gurlies say the colors of the album are? She's so colorful this time around... Pink, red, green, white, black. And a little pastel yellow? What a vibe.
  12. Thank you! Just a heads up if you're in the US - Black and Light Pink are obv cheapest from Amazon, Indies Green is cheapest with 20% code (WELCOME) from Zia, but Dark Pink from Target + the webstore White are pretty much priced in by default since they're exclusives. Just wanting to help y'all save a little $ when variant collecting.
  13. I NEED THIS SONG TO BE LONGER. She's edging me with those strings at the end!!!
  14. Pre-ordered all the vinyl. I said I wouldn't do this again... *sigh*. I love them all, though. Wish she did a color for the standard cover - it's my favorite.
  15. Isn't it a root beer brand, or a Root Beer-themed restaurant? I will say, I hope there aren't a ton of interludes.
  16. I understand and agree, but maybe we should actually hear the interlude first? It might just be some sort of philosophical-based excerpt from a sermon that helped Lana or something. I doubt she's going to include a clip of him saying "Burn in hell, fags!" ... although some Lana fans truly deserve that.
