  1. I can access it too, no password, and I’m in Canada. Nothing has changed on it either.
  2. I really love Lust for Life. It’s a beautiful album to experience. I love the Shangri-Las and witchy vibes and they hold the album together as one piece even when the genres fluctuate. I also really liked the mature progression in songwriting and how she branched out into more topics. I especially liked the Stevie Nicks appearance (I’m still convinced I willed that collab into existence). I originally didn’t give the first disc as much attention as the second disc, but I’ve grown to appreciate the whole album. And I remember having a really bad day the day the album came out and it was that one thing keeping me happy that day. I also remember before it came out, there was a Love Snapchat filter and I first noticed it on my birthday that year so that was fun. And man, I still can’t believe Lana and Stevie have a song together, like that’ll make me happy til the day I die. No collab will ever top that in my mind. And here’s my song ranking: 1. Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems 2. Heroin 3. Tomorrow Never Came 4. Love 5. 13 Beaches 6. Change 7. When the World Was at War We Just Kept Dancing 8. Coachella — Woodstock in My Mind 9. Lust for Life 10. Get Free 11. Cherry 12. God Bless America — And All the Beautiful Women in It 13. Groupie Love 14. White Mustang 15. In My Feelings 16. Summer Bummer
  3. I’m kind of hoping on an album cover without her in it or as a small part of a bigger, scenic picture. But I definitely want a textless cover eventually if not this round. And tbh I feel like her having the truck on LFL was like a full circle moment and the end of the car covers, but you never know with Lana. Also up for a painted cover of some sort.
  4. Huh, didn’t know that. Weird too because I live in Canada and bought it at record store day off a shelf of RSD exclusives. They probably didn’t know where else to put it.
  5. She released coloured vinyl (as well as standard black) for Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and Lust for Life. She also released a blue vinyl Born to Die for Record Store Day a couple years ago (2017 I think?). Paradise is the only album she officially issued on vinyl that hasn’t also been officially issued as a coloured vinyl. So there’s precedent for her to release a coloured vinyl of NFR, and for her not to. But she’s released more than 2 officially on coloured vinyl.
  6. The way the sun hits her does cause her lashes to cast shadows and she’s got some fly-away hairs in front of her too. Tbh that’s the only thing that seems to make her face any different here. Angles and lighting can sometimes change how people perceive your face.
  7. And it’s worth doubling the price if it means getting to actually enjoy your records. But that’s why I tried to find the cheapest one with a good arm. If you don’t mind your records skipping lots and getting damaged though, one of those suitcase style ones are cheaper than any of these. You get what you pay for.
  8. It has a terrible tone arm. It’s not adjustable and and is too heavy. Not only will it damage your records, but most records will skip constantly too. Almost everything is unplayable (including UV deluxe vinyl). I used to have one of these. Don’t waste your money on a turntable with an arm like that (unless you’re a billionaire, then who cares), it’ll cost way more in the long run.
  9. Anyway I’ll do a For the Roses ranking if anyone wants to keep this going For the Roses songs ranked: Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire Blonde in the Bleachers Judgment of the Moon and Stars Barangrill Electricity Lesson in Survival Woman of Heart and Mind Let the Wind Carry Me See You Sometime You Turn Me On, I’m a Radio For the Roses Banquet @@Volta I’d like to see yours if you’re up for it!
  10. Just make sure you buy compatible speakers. Maybe you already have some, which would be nice for you. The one I linked was only a little pricier because it had the speakers come with it in a bundle.
  11. https://www.fluance.com/rt80-turntable-ai40-powered-bookshelf-speakers This is the most reasonably priced turntable I can find that isn’t complete garbage. It’s a bundle with the speakers, so they’ll be compatible and more affordable than buying separately. Just stay away from anything with “built in” speakers or an arm you can’t adjust if you want it to work properly for more than a month (if even that). But you might as well treat yourself before NFR comes out because it’ll probably sound phenomenal on vinyl.
  12. This one was way harder than I expected but here’s my Blue ranking: Little Green The Last Time I Saw Richard Carey My Old Man A Case of You Blue All I Want This Flight Tonight California River @@Volta I find it interesting though how we both have Carey and Little Green in the top three
  13. If NFR hasn’t leaked yet, not even a single song, I doubt it will. Especially with the snippets, people have been begging for specific songs, yet still no leaks. Lana’s finally succeeded in protecting her album. Maybe that’s one of the reasons she doesn’t feel pressured to release it before she’s ready. It’s probably refreshing.
  14. I got too used to Venice Bitch too, and now it seems too short. Like I’ll be swaying to it, really feeling it, then it just ends. I just really like vibing to long ass songs.
  15. Lana should make an extended mix of Venice Bitch for the album. Double the length and give it a whole side on the vinyl. That would literally be a dream come true. I know it won’t happen, but it would be amazing. Just imagine the trance it would put you in.
  16. Tbh The Jungle Line was initially my least favourite song and it was the drums that distracted me most. Over time I started to like it though because sonically it started reminding me of Friends by Led Zeppelin. And I grew to like all the lyrics referencing Henri Rousseau and the jungle metaphors kind of like his paintings. Also, In France They Kiss on Main Street was initially one of my favourites because I liked the 50s rock style and theme of it, but the more I listened to the album and the other songs grew on me, I guess it sank down the list.
  17. It’s really just that the other songs are just so good and something has to be at the bottom. It was so hard because I didn’t really feel anything belonged at the bottom of the list. I truly love every song on this album. I’m probably just more attached to the slower sadder songs for some reason.
  18. Here’s my Hissing of Summer Lawns ranking: Harry’s House/Centrepiece Don’t Interrupt the Sorrow The Hissing of Summer Lawns Shades of Scarlet Conquering The Boho Dance Sweet Bird Edith and the Kingpin The Jungle Line On France They Kiss on Main Street Shadows and Light Since it’s my favourite album, it was surprisingly hard for me to rank them too. When starting my list, I was also only really sure of my top three songs. I’m actually listening to it now to help me.
  19. I’m listening to the two best albums. Same moods. They’re always great to listen to back to back.
  20. My next choice would be Summer Lawns, but Blue or Ladies of the Canyon are obvious choices. Whichever is easiest to do next I guess.
  21. So how bout a picture disc vinyl of a Norman Rockwell painting
  22. You keep replying, I keep answering. Because you guys keep replying and it’s funny now lmao
