Lana's always had somewhat of a country influence on her music. I think it's most prevalent on Chemtrails and her Lizzy-era work. I'd argue that her acoustic demos like Your Band Is All The Rage, You're Gonna Love Me, All Smiles, etc. as well as Queen Of The Gas Station are her most country-esque songs. I'd even say Super Movie is pretty country inspired. Exploring country music isn't new for Lana at all. Of course it's not everyone's taste, but I'm glad to see her exploring this interest of hers

I LOOOVE the gravelly and raw tone of Nikki's voice  they sound so good together, this performance was a bit messy but in a really sweet and endearing way, reminds me of when my family get together with their guitars and sing a bunch of songs while totally trashed - like, you can tell its messy, but its cute!! this has me really excited for their work together and I hope this project sees the light of day I really do!!

okay, i just listened to the full song (i was too tired last night lol) & i like it! it has this early 50's vibe which i find intriguing!  i've gotta be honest, i'm not a huge fan of nikki's voice, at least, not in this song, but i don't think i should make that many judgements because this is just a live performance & it'll probably sound more balanced in the studio version!

i was just thinking how perfect of a title that would be for the album and the picture you picked fits so well. imagine them though in like 1890s saloon costumes with this sepia tone, maybe like burn marks around the side. ugh i realy hope this is the next project
