These lines are similar/the same, but not one of them is so noticable for a Lana song that you could say that it's a legit influence on marina (as long as she doesn't confirm it).

The thing is, everyone calls Savages and Immortal cliche and pretentious or whatever, but I don't think they are. I really do think she's a good enough lyricist to pull them off. I think the people who think they sound pretentious or cheesy perhaps think so because they don't expect such "deep" material from a pop artist who wrote a song called "how to be a heatbreaker".

I deleted it. It isn't out for a month and a half and I want something to look forward to but from what I heard, I honestly loved it.
I think Savages will be one of my favourite Marina songs but it is too early to tell. Looking forward to April again...

Love the album-- bummed that it leaked so early, but I'm sure we're all still going to support her. Buying it when it comes out for sure! Early favorites are "Happy" "I'm A Ruin" "Blue" "Solitaire" and "Savages"
