I'm getting the feeling this release isn't going to deal with physical violence so much as relational, social, psychological violence. In which case I think this cover is perfect for it. Maybe even down to removing her name.

Anyway, I really like the cover and can't wait to buy the record T3T
...her face is kind of weird, though. Like when I stare right into her eyes, it starts to look weird? IDK
 

Her name isn't on the cover because she'll surprise us with a new stage name. I mean it's a new era

Compare her shoulders in AKA and Ultraviolence!

Once people come to terms with the new look of hers it will be easier to digest imo. Everytime i hear about something new happening, i honestly expect it to look completely LQ with little effort, it's the point of the era, so i'm never hugely disappointing or overly joyed nowdays with her.
The music is really showcasing itself with this era it seems, nothing more.

The picture is so simple and I love black and white photography so.. amazing 

She didn't put her name on the Ultraviolence billboards either remember?
Personally, I like the photo, she looks really pretty!
 
Also, look at all her covers:
Born To Die she is centre of the image staring forward with her head straight, same as Paradise, but AKA and Ultraviolence she is stood slightly off centre with her shoulders slanted and her head tilted! This could mean nothing but I thought it was worth noting?

I can't think of any contemporary examples but Bjork has consistently never placed her name on an album cover apart from her Greatest Hits.

I like it, it's just not what I expected. It'll grow on me.

I wanted the cigarette lighting pic tho  But it looks good, not an iconic cover, but a good one. It would make a better single cover imo, but still nice.

This is slaying me so much that I just cannot take it. I love it. It is raw, it is natural as someone stated earlier, it screams this era --- the music we have already received from this era. It speaks to that. I love it so much. My goodness. Work, Lana. You know just what feeds some of your fans.

I am SO excited for this! I don't care about the titles, the titles on BTD/Paradise aren't exactly groundbreaking, are they? I just can't wait for this now. I really enjoyed West Coast (more so the song rather than the video) and I have high hopes.
