  1. I'd rather hear that cover than hear Born to Die, Blue Jeans or Summertime Sadness for the 17283849th time
  2. It's really just that. Also, her not performing her more upbeat tracks doesn't help I find. Because despite having choreography and theatrics, her shows remain somewhat low energy, especially last night. At least her vocals are on-point.
  3. Lana's core stans will be oblivious to that, but this setlist definitely felt like like one long piano ballad. She's losing a bit of momentum on stage--at least there was Pretty When You Cry. A show needs peaks and valleys.
  4. Lana will literally perform Blue Jeans on her deathbed.
  5. I think she sounded great, and looked gorgeous, though it kinda felt like a variant of her Lollapalooza look. But the choice of songs... choices.
  6. No Cherry or Diet Mountain Dew, or even White Mustang at this particular point, is wild I think. Those are the most upbeat songs she's been performing this current tour.
  7. One of those stans that's been to like 90% of her shows and has met her on several occasions.
  8. I didn't watch the livestreams continuously, but it feels like her set was rather short? Also, sorry, but the 5 stans that attend every single of her shows aren't the insiders they believe they are.
  9. The sheer rush when Lana comes down the stage and starts greeting us fans, that feeling is unlike anything
  10. Ultraviolence being one of her favourite albums IKTR
  11. Idk why some of yall are hating on country Lana or a potential country album--like she'd do it her way and it would slay honestly
  12. The only one I've seen so far that actually makes sense
  13. No I feel her, when you make something you're proud of, you want people to watch it. But it's the second time she comments on it. I don't think she's mad, but she might be a lil bitter.
  14. The footage in itself was cute, and she looked stunning, but her "vision" made it hard to watch honestly. Would've been infinitely better with a full "film noir" aesthetic from start to finish and the BTS sequence at the end. It just did not flow well storytelling wise. Also the "people have a short attention span" argument is a bit exaggerated, "Ride" is 10 minutes long, has an intro and an outro, but it has 150+ million views (and I understand that it was released 10 years ago), but that video is cohesive--Candy Necklace, while beautiful, is not. She also dropped the video at the most random time without any promotion whatsoever... I understand that promotion wise she's into the "less is more mindset", but her feeling upset, while valid, seems a bit misplaced. I guess this post is her idea of promoting.
  15. She looks very Martha's Vineyard summer, her little baby blue cardigan is so cute.
  16. The vibe was unmatched. I live in a continuous loop of this concert.
  17. Exactly, might look a bit chaotic at times, and it definitely works great with certain songs and perhaps not so great with others, but ultimately you're looking at Lana most of the time.
  18. I guess this also belongs in the Unpopular Opinions thread, but I think Lana needs the help on stage. She's quite static on stage and her hardcore stans might think it's cute, but I remember seeing her back in 2014 and 2015--she was practically singing eyes closed for an hour and 15 minutes. Having the singers and dancers on stage helps her come out of her shell and divert attention. I much prefer the current format than the ones of years past. I saw her two weeks ago and it definitely was the elevated performance. That being said, it does look a lil distressing during Video Games, but it's kinda camp, so idc.
