I just want the album era to be not traumatic. Don’t start promo or releasing singles if you haven’t even finished half the record yet and don’t know exactly when you will.
 
Single announcement, single released 3 days later, music video a week later along with album cover, title, pre-order and date, a second single 2 weeks later, a promo single a week later, then the album after that. There’s no need for constant teasing for months of songs that don’t even make the record, actual weeks of silence between things happening during a pre-release period, and the confusion and hysteria over the release date. Thank god Lust for Life is a great record because the pre-release was done not just really really sloppily, but also in a way that was frustrating to fans rather than rewarding.

That crowd was NOT NEARLY as insane as I had feared. It was strangely better after she started. That long time of waiting after the initial rush to the stage was the worst part.
 
I think she was fantastic. Too short, yes. But this was my 4th time seeing her so I knew what to expect. I also thought everyone was a fool for shouting for Body Electric! I would have preferred a full Love. And no Heroin. *cries* Hopefully she'll do that in NYC next month!

she sings the line sometimes.. probably just because she's caught up in the performance and is performing out of habit. But she did say a couple weeks ago that she doesn't feel the same bout a few lines in UV but still likes the track

I'm a gay man and The San Francisco Gays™ frighten me as well. Haha. I really hope the show is not as crazy as all that. I'm not willing to line up before 4 or 5 so I'll just deal with whatever view I can get. I've been visiting from out of town and this city has worn me out. I just want to survive the show!

I did get my tickets. I hope you have gotten yours by now? 

per the email from the Bill Graham Civic this morning, lineup starts at 8am the day of show not before. Anyone going that early?... 

Haven't gotten mine yet either....

Anybody get their actual tickets for this show yet? I paid to have them mailed to me but nothing yet...
