Just on the death penalty point, I basically agree with LDR. The state shouldn't have the right to choose which people live or die. The very thought that my state can choose whether I have to right to live is frankly quite mortifying. How can I trust in a government that has that kind of blood on its hands, regardless of how deserving/undeserving it may be?

This is so nauseating to read and I just don't get it at all. Rape culture and all its problems just seem so obvious to me. It's really one of those things where I can't understand why anyone can't see it the way I do, and you know for the most part I'm willing to see an issue from both sides. How little empathy do these boys have to have to not stop for a minute and think, "if this was happening to me would I be 100% okay with it?"

Regardless of lana's input, I have such high hopes for this movie. Like I'm on the verge of becoming a gatsby stan and starting a tumblr dedicated to the cause. I hope he invited Nicki Minaj to collab with him for the soundtrack. But slows down her vocals so it's like real Jay-z vs Gay-z. I need this in my life.

There's so much opportunity for a really beautiful cover if it's released as a physical single. I hope they don't just use a text cover or something~

Girls is great but pretty intense~ the characterisation is real though, they're deeply flawed and human people, the sex scenes are uncomfortable and the conversations are very true to life. It can be quite confronting to watch. I wasn't aware they turned Clueless into a tv show~ mite b cool. Sabrina is iconic though, constantly funny and just very light entertainment.
