    Boarding School

Because she's still a child in boarding school. She thinks she grown up taking drugs and sleeping with teachers and yeah she does think she's badass but her drinking pepsi kind of reminds us that she's meant to still be a young lolita type figure.
  2. I hope animal related sweaters becomes a thing with her.

  11. Actually it's really easy to talk about anything without being sexist. Try this, "people liked Amy Winehouse because of her hair" because gender is completely irrelevant to ones opinion. The thing about sexism though, as I see it, is that the discrimination aspect of it has to come from somewhere else right? People don't just discriminate because they can. They do it because they have a preconceived idea about something. That preconceived idea is a prejudice and that prejudice is often born out of a stereotype so it's kind of all linked as far as I'm concerned. I'm not really sure where you're going with the shopping example. That's not a question I can answer, because I'll never know your intent or reasons for offering to do so. I think it also comes own to how you offer to carry my bags. There's a chauvinistic way of doing it and then there's the more altruistic human way of offering. Depending on how you offered would impact how I would receive your gesture.
  12. I actually disagree with your definition. Sexism doesn't just involve discrimination but also stereotyping and prejudice regardless of whether the stereotype is perceived as positive, negative or neutral. However, this just seems like something we'll have to agree to disagree about, sorry if I upset you it wasn't my intention.
  13. No dude that is sexism. Your generalising an idea based on someones sex. You may not have done it intentionally, but you're reinforcing gender roles by suggesting women are more interested in hair than men ever would be or that men are more interested in suits.

    The XX

I feel you. Their debut really was incredible and such a different sound to everything that was out their currently. Coexist is kind of showing them to be a one trick pony. Anyone heard some of Jamie xx's solo work? in 2011 he put out a remix album called We're New Here which basically took tracks from Gil Scott-Heron's 2010 I'm New Here and added beats and stuff. Here was my fav track
  15. omg these are potentially really good emoticons tbqh :2highdude: such emotion~
  16. a little unflattering but hey who am i to judge. basically 1 in 10 of my photos work out.
  17. Patriarchy actually doesn't benefit men as much as one would think tbh. It sets out a standard based mostly upon socially constructed gender roles. While this obviously takes power away from women as it expects them to be docile, submissive and homemakers when they may not want to be it also expects things from men. Men in a patriarchal society are expected to be masculine, often abrasive and the breadwinners of a family. It disallows men to express any kind of emotional sensitivity without being perceived as feminine. In conclusion, patriarchy kind of sucks for everyone.
  18. These really are lovely. Do you happen to have them in higher quality?
  19. why would anyone write how they're feeling when you can use emoticons?
