Does anyone know if Francesco directed this video too? He's great and all, but I was hoping for something not with his mark all over it....... The song sounds lovely, but I'm not here for another "backyard villa" video

I've had things like this happen several times, but I think it mainly happens because she's singing very basic, generic, love lyrics. You've probably been having things like this happen to you your entire life, but are only now realizing it as you are aware of her lyrics, melodies, etc. I've had it happen where I've realized that our (mine and LDR's) paths have crossed numerous times, but we've yet to meet each other. That creeps me out, but at the same time it's kind of cool? I'm always freaked out when I realized how small the world actually is and how similar the circles we run in are to each other.

I can't remember where I read it, but yes, somewhere in print is a quote of her saying that she heard of Delray for the first time while in florida and visiting a bf in recovery. It was from maybe circa 2011/2012? Her story does tend to change every 5 minutes though, so who knows. I always just found that interesting and think of it whenever I'm driving in Florida and see signs for Delray.

This woman is literally in almost "every" aspect of my life. Ready for how weird it is? - When I was younger, I had to visit my mom in rehab in Del Ray Beach, florida (lana's name inspo came from Del Ray beach after meeting a boyfriend who was in rehab there) - My ex and I met at Mulberry in NYC....I was there because I wanted to see the "Del Rey" bag collection. - My family has a home in the same community as Rob and Patty in Florida (no, I have never met Lana..yes, I have seen Rob..we have chatted about how our families names are super similar...see below) - My eyebrow woman in my city used to do Lana's brows (I didn't know this til way after I had been using her) - My name is Caroline, my mothers name is Elizabeth, and my brother's name is Robert (stretch, but....) - My current boyfriend is a photographer and lives in NYC...we started dating around the same time that Lana/Francesco started. He lives in the same neighborhood as Francesco (SoHo) - Way before any photos had been released of Lana staying with Francesco in NYC, I went into a cafe (its close to my bf's apartment) and asked for a latte, but wanted a straw with it (I've been drinking hot beverages with straws for ages). The waitress laughed and told me I was the second woman that morning who had asked for a straw with a latte...later found out Lana had been in there 30 minutes prior. You can't make this shit up. I'm just waiting for the day where I happen to run into Lana.

I nanny for a 15 month old and 2 yr old. I have been playing Lana for them since they were born (Yayo was the only fucking song that would put the oldest one to sleep as a baby) so I just bought and downloaded them onto my phone. THANK YOU for finding this. I have a playlist of LDR that they listen to while they sleep and I always feel a little guilty for the cursing in some of the songs (they're babies, but still), so this is nice to have. Curious to see how they'll sleep with this compared to not having Lana's voice put them to sleep.

I kind of knew they were having problems around May...also anyone else notice that she hasn't been wearing that "engagement" ring for the last few weeks? If you listen to the lyrics of the songs in UV, I would imagine that some of those lyrics would contribute to some problems in their relationship. None of us know for sure who those songs are about, but if she was singing about her current state of mind and relationship, they had more than a few problems. I honestly think she's with that Francessco guy....him driving her car to Chateau marmont was no accident. She knows theres paparazzis there, so why take hi there if she didn't want to get caught? Also did anyone else catch her fb post this morning that was a photo of her holding roses and the caption, "thank you for my beautiful flowers. x" I have a strong suspicion that could be directed towards some man... I really did like her and Barrie together and it's sort of sad to see that they've had problems. I feel for both of them and hope they both go on to either reconcile or find someone who makes them happy.

I'd love to see a Brooklyn Baby video with Barrie, but I'm kind of doubting that it will happen I think we're definitely getting a big budget video for cruel world and Old Money. Ultraviolence is a given as well. I don't think we'll get a video for Florida kilos or any of the bonus tracks, although my Floridan heart would explode from happiness if she did a lizzy grant style video for FL in Miami.

I heard this for the first time as I was driving from Miami to Key West and my Floridian heart just about exploded. LOVE THIS! The beat and her voice is just heaven. I definitely played it a few times while on the beach. It's like it was a Lizzy Grant song remastered and thrown into UV at the last minute as a gift for her older fans.

This was a million times better than the WC video (for me at least). I love the simplicity of the video as a whole and the bond/70s theme it gives off. The Lolita/Daddy thing helped further evolve her story that she is trying to tell in this era. The pool scene has inspired me to spend my summer practicing how to swim that sexually, while also getting out of the pool with such grace and sophistication. In addition, I will be studying how to seductively eat a strawberry while holding a cigarette....(kidding).

I'm glad they're allegedly still together...I was starting to think maybe they broke up. Kind of interesting how he was never spotted with her while she was just back in LA and how she was spending her time at the Chateau instead of with him at their home. I wish them well- I hope they stay together. Oh and if anyone has the full Sun article or a link to it, I would love to read it!!

I think her family life is definitely complicated and a lot probably stems from her childhood. My take is that her parents weren't around a ton during her childhood or if they were, they were pre-occupied with something else. In many cases (not saying that this is what happened with her) one of the reasons a child will develop an alcohol problem early on is because of a stressful or neglectful home life. I'm using the term neglectful in the sense that Rob and Patty weren't around alot, not in the sense that they harmed her physically or anything like that. As for her siblings, I doubt that she is legally responsible for them as both siblings are over the age of 18. I think, being the oldest sister, she enjoys caring for them and gave them the option to come and live with her and escape from Lake Placid. Maybe she's trying to protect them from living the life that she lived in her later teens and early twenties. They all seem to have a great relationship with Rob now and Chuck has expressed how much she enjoys spending time with her mom. Every family is messy and complicated; nice to see how much lana cares about her siblings.

This song is a gift. So in love...kind of want this at my wedding lol. It fits my life.
