She hasn't even confirmed which festival dates she's cancelling, if any. I feel that she should at least do that ... that affects the festivals organisers (ticket sales) and the fans. There are people who are hesitant to buy tickets because she said she was cancelling dates and has not said anything since. All that's required is a "hey guys - not cancelling any dates anymore" or "hey guys - I'm cancelling [date]" (which, at this late stage, would be a shitty thing to do, but nevertheless). So the apologists can say she doesn't owe us anything, and she doesn't have to do anything, and leave her alone to live her life, and blah blah blah, but really, it's pretty shitty, as an artist, to say you're cancelling shows and then not say anything else for 5 months. Here we are, a month away from the first show, and people still don't know whether she's going to turn up or not.

I mean ... the festival dates span from mid June to mid July, so I would HOPE that if she was really going to cancel any, she would've said so by now. I'm sure there are plenty of people in the same situation as you are, and it'd be a shitty thing for her to cancel at this point (unless there were unforeseen circumstances, of course). So ... if it were me, I'd probably go ahead and buy the ticket ... When and where did she say she was going to cancel some, btw?

I don't think anyone is saying that it is, though. Just the no posting + they haven't been seen together in quite awhile + sis seems to have ditched all her non-baddie friends = maybe. They are probably fine. People are just pointing out that it's a little odd.

Once again - I don't feel entitled to anything. She can do what she wants. As a fan of her music, the silence is annoying. I don't have to be her boss, or her friend, or her goldfish to feel that way. I can feel whatever the fuck way I want, and so can everyone else. Like who are you, the feelings police? Jesus. If you don't find it annoying, good for you, sis. But stop telling everyone else how they should feel and think.

I don't feel "owed" anything, but I also think what she's doing is unprofessional af. That's her prerogative, but fans of her music are, understandably, going to get annoyed. She said the album would be out "top of the year", it's the end of May, and there is still no news. Throw in the false Google release date, and it's not surprising that people are impatient and confused. Many months have passed without a single comment about it from her, her managers, or her label. Meanwhile, she's posting about everything else, including other people's albums. Given that, a lot of people are going, "why can't she say something? Anything?" It has nothing to do with being a friend or a stranger. WTF? I don't understand what that has to do with anything.

Well, sis' first summer festival appearance is the day after her birthday in Ireland, I think? I'm excited because it'll be nice to see the bitch doing something music-related.

I agree. I feel like some people here are hypersensitive. Most of what is said here is said in jest. Personally, I make fun of her all the time but that's exactly what I'm doing - making fun of her. Would I be here if I hated her, or even, disliked her? No. We don't even know if she reads here, and if she does, she doesn't have to. I'd die laughing if people wrote all this shit about me, though, so I'd like to think she would, too. It's just not that serious. Crack another beer.

I'm really tired so excuse my wording in this post. I really wouldn't be surprised if she is feeling insecure about the album. As you said, we discussed pages ago about how the reception to Hope was probably not what she was expecting, but when you stop and think about it, I think it might've been the same with LFL, which adds even more weight to the theory. I really feel like Coachella might've been her favourite track on LFL. I don't think she ever named an outright favourite (I think she said WM was one of her favourites and I'll get to that), but she did mention it in almost every single interview in 2017/18. How she wrote it in a week or whatever, how she was inspired by North Korean missiles, etc ... I got the impression that she was really proud of it and pretty much everyone feels that it's the weakest track on that album. And even White Mustang - fans have such a love/hate relationship with it, and in that recent interview she said that White Mustang was one of her favourite tracks on that album. She also said, "oh, barely anyone has heard it" which was very what the fuck. So given all of that, plus the fact that Hope is usually placed behind VB and MAC (even in streaming numbers) ... I get why she might be second-guessing. It's just a theory. Whatever the reason: I think we can all agree that, at some point, she's definitely had a change of heart in terms of the release schedule. Nobody releases 3 songs in relatively quick succession and then fucks off for 5 months and counting. And re: the comments - I realised that she probably just set up keyword filters (eg: "NFR") to filter out any comments containing those words. That's not as dramatic as manually deleting, but it still indicates ... sensitivity.
