She could literally tell us the album is never coming out and I'd be satisfied at this point...I just want her to give us some information

Manifesting that Dealer is not only on the album, but is a screamer track in the same way she used to do the "for the very LAST TIME, I'M FINE" in MDM - she sounded so angry when she would do it sometimes, but that's the exact energy I want (I ended up falling down a Lana performance rabbit hole today and this came into mind)

Video Games was my first Lana song and I listened to it for YEARS before I became an actual fan. I'd say the song that officially made me a fan would be Honeymoon, since I'd decided to listen to what was her most recent album at the time

Personally, I don't want Lana to recreate or think there's a need for her to recreate any of her previous work. And I think most of us feel that way. However, I think there's aspects of her previous work that I would absolutely love a comeback on for this upcoming album. Whether it's certain vocal stylings or the heavy guitars or even lyrics, I think there's a lot she can draw reference to if she wanted to. At the same time, I'm excited to see the new things she comes up with for BB. Lana is an artist who never does the same thing twice. So, obviously, people are gonna have an album they're a huge fan of and an album they aren't simply based on the genre she explored for that album. It's totally fine for people to prefer her older work to her newer work and vice versa. Everyone's taste is different. Sorry for the rant, it was just on my mind with things that have been discussed today and I wanted to share since it somewhat has to do with the album.

What we really need for this album is for Lana to work with David LaChapelle again. The shoot she did with him is fucking fantastic, I'd love it if she brought that energy to this era

If there's one thing people love to do, it's spread misinformation about Lana. Why would she even have that in her house? It makes zero sense I mean, I don't think anyone (including the person who posted it) finds it to be that big of a deal, I just think it's kind of funny

We're in the "I'm bored, let's talk about every other album while we wait" period of pre-release I'm really looking forward to see how this album differs from her other ones and what genre Lana's going to tackle next (assuming this isn't an entirely folk-inspired album)

I have such a good feeling about this album, I haven't one like it since NFR's pre-release era. There's just something about the (assumed) concept of this album, the information we do have and the insider stuff that's really tying it all together for me

I know it's not happening, but imagine if the album cover was her with a blue rock candy stick in her mouth

Honestly, I'm not super concerned about her dropping a song on the QFTC anniversary. If she does, I don't even think most people remember the exact date that she posted it. Also, the first single is either gonna be RCS or BB (most likely), and I already know BB has nothing to do with QFTC or anything surrounding it

The Friday in 2 weeks is May 21st and we all know what happened on that day last year Maybe the new era starting on that day this year will reverse the energy brought from last year and this era will be her best one yet

I'm not believing anything until I see it, however, I'm still gonna keep my eye on this two weeks thing...I can't help my excitement

Blue Banisters could be such a cool metaphor. Banisters keep you from falling off the side of a staircase, so they're protection and a sense of security. But blue is referenced quite frequently in Lana's work as sadness (excluding songs like Get Free obviously), so there's a sadness in the security - and since in the lyrics she implies that he DIDN'T come back in May to paint her banisters blue, she doesn't have that security anymore. Yes, I've reached the point of desperation where I'm making theories on a 30 second snippet. And yes, I'm sure someone else has already thought of this before

I'm gonna be honest here - one of my favorite parts of pre-release is fake information, I don't know why, but I always find it so funny This era has been a goldmine for it

Video Games is so special to me - I remember seeing the video for the first time in 2012 (after she re-released it thanks to copyright) and thinking A. the song was beautiful and B. I would've done anything to look like Lana. It took me five years after that to officially jump on the Lana train, but this song and video will always mean the absolute world to me. Also, seeing the old comments is so funny "Anybody know where i can get this for my Ipod?"

Something similar to Summer Bummer would be so great - I've had that song on loop as of late

I don't think the album is coming July 4th after what Mike said, but at this point, I literally don't care - I'm just so hyped that we have a confirmation that she worked with other producers for this album (or something else but I'll take the win lol)

500 pages and all we have is a 30 second snippet, an...interesting....promo pic, and a whole lot of random, useless info from "insiders"

It looks fake to me - it's not even that it necessarily looks super out of left field or anything, it just seems odd (and also a bit like it's pandering). I'm not gonna say it's 100% not real and we shouldn't believe it, I just don't believe anything in terms of tracks until Lana posts the tracklist herself. If there's one thing Lana stans love to do, it's make things up
