When she was doing shows with Nikki Lane in Texas a few weeks ago, there was a fan that met her who said she said she'd be working with Jack for RCS and chaos ensued

I would literally take fake insider info at this point, I just want SOMETHING to talk about in terms of this album. The fact that we've made 322 pages of discussion over 2 Instagram posts and something she might have said to a fan is impressive lol. I always forget what it's like starting the album cycle with no information, but 99% of the time, that's how it starts

I was listening to Paradise today and I came to the conclusion that I really want that sort of lyrical energy. Paradise and UV are, in my opinion, her most bold albums in terms of lyrics, so to have a comeback of that would be great Also: I'm still manifesting Dealer for this album

I'm not one who usually partakes in smoking and/or drugs, but if Lana wanted to release something related to that for this era's merch, I wouldn't be opposed to it in the slightest. I mean, one of her most infamous pieces of merch is the coke spoon necklace - just imagine what else she could come up with

If Rock Candy Sweet means actually candy, then I think a cute little pop up where she sells merch and rock candy sticks would be cool If Rock Candy Sweet is a metaphor for jewelry however, I'll be expecting my diamond necklace on June 1st, Ms. Del Rey

I wouldn't say that I fully want a return to the BTD sound, but I would like a return to the extravagant strings produced by emile haynie, dan heath, and even rick. We got a slight glimpse of it again in COCC thanks to dan, but I'd love to have it back in full

Something I've been thinking about a lot recently is the similarities in the fan receptions of COCC and LFL - both albums have songs that have gone on to become fan favorites and will probably become LDR classics (13 beaches, cherry, heroin, change, get free - white dress, tulsa jesus freak, dark but just a game, and yosemite to some extent), and they have songs that are generally hated by most fans and are considered by a lot of them to be her worst tracks (lust for life, coachella, when the world was at war, BPBP - LMLYLAW, breaking up slowly, and for free). I don't think this is something uncommon for an artist/album, but it's something I've really noticed with these two

I can promise you that this album isn’t coming on June 1st lol. This is someone who’s notorious for not committing/sticking to release dates

I'm the kind of person where I associate different albums with time periods in my life, so for me, Sirens is spring 2019. But in terms of general things it makes me think of, I think of wide fields, cups of coffee, Fordham, and shifting from a child/teenager to an adult

That's true. Yosemite is from 2016 and so is TNBAR, they're both LFL outtakes - I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm not getting my hopes up for anything

I just picked up A Vindication of the Rights of Women by Mary Wollstonecraft. It's so interesting to have a feminist book from the 1700s, and I've been trying to push myself to read more nonfiction/philosophical books

I'm always very careful about who I do and don't listen to during the album cycle - even Lana herself is a pretty unreliable source for sound and release dates. And I think that in terms of snippets, I hope that if we get any, we only get one. I already knew most of NFR because of how many snippets she posted of it

I think Lana can do a simple music video beautifully - ultraviolence, honeymoon and even FILY/The Greatest to some extent are examples of that (as well as her lizzy grant era and 2011 homemade videos). I do, of course, like a fully produced video, though. I'd love it if she worked with BRTHR again, chemtrails is one of my favorite Lana videos to date. Something that'd also be nice to have again would be a video monologue - the ones she did were always so beautiful

I want a whole mix of emotions for this album - anger (*cough cough* dealer *cough cough* ), sadness, happiness, horniness, etc. Lana is good at making me feel six different things on one album, and I need that to make a comeback

Electra Heart - Fear and Loathing, The State of Dreaming, Valley of the Dolls FROOT - Froot, Savages, Solitaire (I'm A Ruin gets an honorable mention, it's so hard to pick just three for this album) L+F: End of the Earth, Believe in Love, Emotional Machine

I'm hoping that this album does actually end up being named Rock Candy Sweet just because I want to see how the title is added to those cringey album story posts "we were born to die we survived his ultraviolence we went on our honeymoon we found our lust for life we met norman fucking rockwell and we will watch the chemtrails over the country club" waiting for "and we ate rock candy sweet" lol
