  1. DADDY NEIL Hopefully he's doing the main album cover this time
  2. The fact that some of us though that Blue Banisters was gonna be our new horny anthem but it's actually going to be my new cry song when it's released
  3. I was already super hyped for this album, but WOW. The lyrics are so beautiful and yet so sad, the production is stunning (personally, I don't think it sounds like a COCC song at all), and the video looks gorgeous. This is shaping up to be what might be a favorite Lana era of mine If there's one thing Lana will always do spectacularly, it's a title track
  4. This is the most publicity Picsart has gotten in years, Lana is actually being very charitable towards them by subtly promoting the app. Humble queen!
  5. For me, it's the fact that a lot of the time their "information" is super vague, so no matter what happens, they can still be right I don't think anyone knows anything about this album except for Lana herself and whoever produced it with her - and even that's up in the air
  6. I saw one of those prediction/"insider" accounts say to not get too caught up with Lana and that RCS is a single, not an album. I don't believe those sorts of accounts most of time, just thought it was interesting
  7. When Blue Banisters is to COCC as Paradise is to BTD
  8. Polydor didn't delete the Twitter post about it (although they may just be like Lana and forget to delete things from Twitter), but honestly, I take it more as a sign that that's not actually the album cover so they deleted it to stop confusion
  9. I don't think the picture she posted is the album cover to be honest (even though I really don't think it's as bad as people are making it out to be). With her last two album cover reveals, we've had a preorder and tracklist to go along with it. She obviously could be doing it differently for this era, but at the end of the day, we really don't know
  10. Yeah, I saw that! He also posted it on his Instagram story, so he either had a hand in producing the album or is just very excited about it despite only following Lana a week ago lol
  11. This is the most excited I've been about a Lana album since NFR (even though I do love chemtrails). I'm 80% sure Mike Dean is a producer for this album, so I'm super excited to hear the shift from NFR/COCC to this album. Also, I'm taking Polydor commenting on and liking the post as confirmation, but I do wanna hear from Ben and/or Ed just to be on the safe side
  12. Mike Dean and Polydor both commenting on the post....
  13. You go to bed early ONCE and Lana reannounces the album In all seriousness, at this point, I couldn't care less about the piscart thing - she looks pretty, and the music is what's most important. I think people on Twitter are being super overdramatic about it. I like the July 4th date, and I'm hoping it actually comes to fruition. I'm gonna miss Rock Candy Sweet though
  14. We need something like what she did with Keds in 2009 - a cute shoe collection designed by her that match the aesthetics of the album/era, whatever those will be
  15. A thread about Lana's singular boob....and just when you think you'd seen it all
  16. Honestly, for me, just being able to tell her how much she's impacted me would be enough. She's literally the only artist I listen to that I've never gone through a period of growing tired of and not listening to for a bit. She's a major constant in my life and her music manages to resonate with me throughout all the changes I go through. I do think it'd be nice to give her a more personal gift if I were to give her something. Maybe a notebook or diary sort of thing that's personalized/made specifically for her
  17. I don't think this is going to be it at all, but it'd be so interesting if she did a Marilyn sort of thing with this album aesthetic since it's supposedly releasing on her birthday. She mentioned last year (in the Instagram post from Hell) that she wanted to go back to her old lyrics and aesthetics, and her returning to the Marilyn Monroe look and vibe would be stunning. Kind of like the intro to the National Anthem music video, but drawn out
  18. When she was doing shows with Nikki Lane in Texas a few weeks ago, there was a fan that met her who said she said she'd be working with Jack for RCS and chaos ensued
  19. I would literally take fake insider info at this point, I just want SOMETHING to talk about in terms of this album. The fact that we've made 322 pages of discussion over 2 Instagram posts and something she might have said to a fan is impressive lol. I always forget what it's like starting the album cycle with no information, but 99% of the time, that's how it starts
  20. I was listening to Paradise today and I came to the conclusion that I really want that sort of lyrical energy. Paradise and UV are, in my opinion, her most bold albums in terms of lyrics, so to have a comeback of that would be great Also: I'm still manifesting Dealer for this album
  21. I'm not one who usually partakes in smoking and/or drugs, but if Lana wanted to release something related to that for this era's merch, I wouldn't be opposed to it in the slightest. I mean, one of her most infamous pieces of merch is the coke spoon necklace - just imagine what else she could come up with
  22. If Rock Candy Sweet means actually candy, then I think a cute little pop up where she sells merch and rock candy sticks would be cool If Rock Candy Sweet is a metaphor for jewelry however, I'll be expecting my diamond necklace on June 1st, Ms. Del Rey
  23. It made me feel, made me feel like a god It kinda makes me feel like maybe I was better off Vs They judge me like a picture book By the colors, like they forgot to read
  24. I wouldn't say that I fully want a return to the BTD sound, but I would like a return to the extravagant strings produced by emile haynie, dan heath, and even rick. We got a slight glimpse of it again in COCC thanks to dan, but I'd love to have it back in full
  25. Something I've been thinking about a lot recently is the similarities in the fan receptions of COCC and LFL - both albums have songs that have gone on to become fan favorites and will probably become LDR classics (13 beaches, cherry, heroin, change, get free - white dress, tulsa jesus freak, dark but just a game, and yosemite to some extent), and they have songs that are generally hated by most fans and are considered by a lot of them to be her worst tracks (lust for life, coachella, when the world was at war, BPBP - LMLYLAW, breaking up slowly, and for free). I don't think this is something uncommon for an artist/album, but it's something I've really noticed with these two
