I haven't listened to the title track in a while, and I listened today. When I tell you I got goosebumps I've always loved this album and it's been my favorite since it was released, but I'm feeling so connected to it right now in a way I haven't in a while

Every time I see this picture all I can think is that the photoshop makes her looks like a squirrel somehow However, I do think it'd be kind of cool to see the Gucci Guilty aesthetic make a comeback for LDR9

The NFR snippet era was...something, but I found it more exciting than insider info tbh If we're gonna get any hints about the album, I want it from the source herself. And usually, that doesn't spoil too much, so I'm actually excited when things happen. It sucked that we didn't get the three singles as the surprise drop they were supposed to be, so I'm hoping this era is quieter on the insider front

I'm so so in love with this look It's so nice to see Anna and Pammy back, as well as Marc Ramos for the hair coloring and just to generally see Lana having so much fun with fashion again. You can tell in all the pictures from the event that she feels as good as she looks

In regards to wordiness, I feel like that's something Lana's always done. Off To The Races and Tired of Singing The Blues come to mind to me for some reason. Wordiness or even conversational songs aren't something new to her writing (ex: Sirens is, in my opinion, a conversational album), so I'm not going to assume anything about how the album's gonna sound lyrically just because while it's not anything new for Lana, I feel like it's evolved throughout the years

If this is true, whatever it is, it's gonna be making up for the mess that was July 4th, 2021 Update: apparently it's not true, but I still like my idea so...

Swan Song has always been a top three track for me oddly enough, and I don't know what it says about me that I never really understood just how depressing it was until a few months ago. I thought the experience Lana described in the song sounded so freeing and wonderful, although I guess that says more about my own mental health at the time than anything else lol. Hearing her talk about the song the way she did in this interview makes the fact that she never sang it live make more sense
