  1. Million Dollar Man is a 10 but the final chorus makes it a 9 Forever wishing it would’ve been bigger at the end
  2. Me omw to post that LDR9 is a fully jazz album titled "Scat Attack" and see if the Twitter "insiders" believe it
  3. This is such a backhanded compliment wow
  4. I'm gonna be honest I didn't even notice she edited those pictures and if she did, I really don't care because I don't think it's my place
  5. I don't see the point in panicking about potential country music from Lana when it's obvious that her definition of that is completely different than ours She said Video Games and Ride were kind of country songs, I think we're safe lol. And a lot of her old unreleased songs have really heavy classic country elements, so if that's what she plans on going for and not "beer beer hot women in a pickup truck" country, I'm all for it
  6. 1. NFR 2. Honeymoon 3. Chemtrails 4. Lust For Life 5. AKA 6. Blue Banisters 7. Born To Die I feel like my Lana album ranking always changes slightly pretty often just based on my mood and where my life is at, so this ranking will probably change again the next time this thread pops up (however, my top three is always the same)
  7. I'm so excited to see if this look is for something in particular Especially with her hair in those pics, I'm obsessed
  8. I think Lana says two different things in the actual Trash Magic and the live version. It wouldn't be surprising since Lana's known for doing it, and she does it a bit at other points in this performance (changing "I long to be in your arms, honey" to "I long to be in your arms, sugar"). I'm pretty sure the song itself says "comfort inn", but in the live version it sounds like she's saying it but with a p at the start or something.
  9. Fully in agreement about Lana with nothing but acoustic guitar. It fits her voice really well and she's been able to manage making it interesting to listen to since 2006 and all the way into 2021. Maybe I'm just biased because Yosemite is one of my favorite Lana songs ever, but I really would love more songs like it
  10. Days like today make me understand that one person on live with Lana in October who just kept asking her to clarify what lyrics actually are
  11. I think it might be "where ribbons are knots"?? I'm not fully sure though, but I do know that it's definitely something about ribbons and knots lol
  12. I'm still pretty sure that the lyric is "I'm one of many peonies blue" Although for years I heard "one of many ponies blue"
  13. Yes! I'd love to go to a drive-in again sometime soon. I like to go watch old movies from the 50s there. My favorites are film noirs and any of Elvis' movies. I always get cotton candy and coca cola while I'm there too. If you could build your dream house, what would be an essential aspect of it?
  14. "I'm not a furry...you guys are gross" and "U little fuckers" for sure. The mall dress was also iconic I don't care, she had people talking
  15. Plot twist Spider Sense was written for that Spiderman musical that Reeve was in
  16. When the video for the LDR9 lead gets filmed here and has the same aesthetic as the field/garden scenes in Marie Antoinette
  17. Lana's always been super popular, but the past year or so she's really skyrocketed because of her music's presence on TikTok (for better or for worse). It'll be interesting to see how that impacts how her music is received going forward, especially see we already somewhat saw it with the Blue Banisters release and Dealer getting popular. I'm also still thinking about Lana's trips to New York and Italy this year and how that'll play into the album
  18. If Lana goes and sings a song with Jack tonight, if it's not one that's already released, I guarantee we're never hearing it again #JusticeForHeyBlueBaby
  19. It's so disgusting how Lana is constantly having to deal with people like this. I hope she's doing alright
  20. I've had this strange sort of hyper awareness of Lana since about 2012, and I'd been listening to Video Games since then, but 2017 was when I really got into her discography and fell in love Lana's music has essentially been the soundtrack to my life for so long now
