  1. This album is gonna be 12 years old in four days I still remember the 9 year anniversary being the catalyst for really getting me into the album
  2. Honestly? Nothing. And not in a bad way. I really wouldn't mind if she just took a year to rest and spend time with her family/animals, she deserves it. She put out two albums in one year this year. However, since I'm pretty sure she does plan to start something new next year, I'm just excited about whatever music we get from her and finding out what DNC means
  3. I still think it’s either Del Norte County or something to do with diamonds, which I think could both be more thematic than a literal album title
  4. This is Honeymoun’s QFTC era (and it’s not a good look)
  5. Even if that tweet is a joke it’s weird as fuck. A job or a hobby are needed
  6. Exactly, there’s been so many opportunities for a leak war this month
  7. Everyone is an insider at this point I’m not even get into them calling Chemtrails and BB NFR 2 and 3.0 when they really don’t sound that similar, but I just want to say that I don’t think this is really anything to take seriously. At this stage of pre-release in general, while I’ll get excited about things, I try to hold off on listening to insider info (although to me, this doesn’t seem like insider info at all)
  8. Oddly enough, I think that The Trio was a first step in the direction for LDR9
  9. I'm so interested in seeing what the sound of this album is. The fact that BoZ likes it is the biggest thing for me because I know he hasn't enjoyed her last few albums, so it must be a pretty significant change. One thing I've always loved about Lana is her ability to completely change her sound on every album she does. It's gonna be super exciting to see where it goes next. My only hope is that there's a slight psychedelic vibe through the record or that she taps into that early LFL sound a bit. Other than that, right now, I'm just looking forward to seeing what Lana's cooking up.
  10. Mine is kind of small since I don't have anything separated by album/era except for actual albums (although I'm considering changing that), but here it is: The demos go in order of era, whereas the unreleased collection goes in alphabetical order (my favorite part is the fact that my demos album cover and my unreleased album cover match) However, I do separate LDR and May Jailer so that it's easier for me to organize them, so here's my May Jailer stuff as well: I'll probably come back into this thread in a few weeks or so when/if I get my unreleased and demo collections organized by era rather than all together
  11. God Knows I Tried -> High By The Beach
  12. I was so confused as to why there was a debate about Chuck working while pregnant, and then I saw that our resident troll is the one who started it, so it all checks out Anyways! December is almost over which means that we're getting closer to the February collab Also, I'm really not too picky about photographers with Lana (i actually like most of Chuck's pictures of her idc), but I do have a soft spot for her work with Steven Klein and David LaChapelle, so those would be nice for LDR9
  13. I wonder how Lana would react back in 2006 if you told her that in 15 years people would be on a fansite for her, using her random photobooth edits to describe what they want her 9th album to sound like
  14. Don't speak on On & On & On and Serene Queen
  15. This song is so jazzy and sexy I need to listen to it way more
  16. Plot twist we're getting the alleged RCS-adjacent song and the FJM collab within the same month The manifestation starts now
  17. Listening to this album on vinyl makes it a million times better. It's so stunning and the transitions are so seamless and beautiful. The transition from Text Book to Blue Banisters was so perfect I didn't even notice it at first. From the horns on Arcadia and IYLDWM, to the yell-singing on BBS (don't even get me started on how perfect BBS is on vinyl) and Dealer, to the rich piano on Violets For Roses and Sweet Carolina - all of it is just pretty. Hearing Thunder, Living Legend, Nectar, and Cherry Blossom on vinyl was a pretty surreal experience as well
  18. Super Movie

    Song vs. Song

    Fine China vs Flipside
  19. At this point, I'm like 99% sure that the title track is my favorite song on the album and one of my top 10 Lana songs ever. It's so beautiful
  20. It's (probably) not real. The description reads as very fan-made, as well as the site itself. Not only that, but it'd be weird for her team to make a whole new site for this one thing
  21. Ultraviolence and AKA are very winter-y to me (even though sonically they're summer albums). I think it's because the times in my life that I got really into them were during the winter. In terms of songs I associate with Christmas, definitely Trash Magic, Smarty, Pin Up Galore, Be My Daddy and How To Disappear
  22. I actually don't mind the "iPhone 11 / Fuck you Kevin" line in Sweet Carolina. It's obviously just a cute little joke between her and Chuck and I find the delivery of it to be really sweet (you can tell that she's smiling as she sings it)
