I wonder if Lana has listened to Anohni's "Hopelessness" album. She's been a fan of hers since Anohni was a part of Antony and The Johnsons and this is the first record released by Anohni since 2012. It's very political/socially/environmentally minded and yet it's still very beautiful, touching, soul wrenching. I hope Lana has been inspired by Anohni's beautiful voice and assertion of opinions within the lyrics. I can see her doing something similarly powerful and beautiful. I emailed Lana's real estate agent last year feigning interest in the previous properties Lana purchased. I didn't presume to know anything about the current owner I just was curious to know how long her lease was.. (forgive me) and was told that "the current owner" would be moving out this summer (2016) and if I was interested we could discuss leasing the place for a year or two.
